I like that case more than almost any of the aftermarket ones, but not loving the price to get it. Also, considering how long the poker diy thing took, I'm not loving the possible time it could take to receive this.

Not really:

Pure: $114
Treb alum case: $120

Total: $234

However if you already have a pure than yes it is. But you can always sell the PCB to recoup quite a bit of money

okay, so you folks have few concern,
1. The price
tinlong will try to get the price lower, but don't expect much.

2. Time
As usual, tinlong can get the board for few days (within one week)

It looks like this case is the one that has the really shallow edges/rims. Similar to the prototype picture vortex showed a while back. I'm interested in case only.

I believe so, since the Pure is PCB mounted.

The fn layers are different, and there's a non-conventional tilde stuck right next to the right shift, which makes swapping caps for the whole board not as easy.

It is not a sound economic way to get one though.

I don't think so. He told me he had gotten the Pure cases from a local reseller when he bought the boards and that he could get plastic cases so then he'd case the Pures he stripped the aluminum cases from.
