Cherry Board 6.0 - some of the keys are starting to double register and driving me crazy. Also some of the LEDs don't work, however I never use the backlight anyways so it doesn't bother me. I've owned since June 2015.
Peace, love and keyboards.

just got this chinese optical (Infrared) keyboard and I'm giving it a try. (rainbow keycaps did not come with the kb)
JWH blue switches, they feel harder than black MX and ridiculously clicky compared to brown MX (hadn't try blue ones), and way louder.
I'll try it for a week and see what happens.

No. I would not suggest clicky alps for work, however, their sound is not near as offputting as cherry. However, black cherry mx switches aren't even clicky. I chalk the complaints up to you gorilla fisting your keyboard ;)

Don't worry, I don't gorilla fist my keyboards  :p
It's just my co-workers being very picky about keyboard/mice/whatever sound. And what really puts me off is that they complain about my keyboard being loud, but they don't complain when 3 or 4 people are in discussion in the open space...
Keyboards sound don't disturb me, but when people are in conversation in the open space, I just can't concentrate on my work.

Temporarily rotated this one into use. New white Alps switches modified with springs and leaves from a near-new AEK for a "faux-orange" Frankenboard.
"It turns out that for a decade, whenever Trump wanted to get a loan, or make a deal, he would inflate the value of his real estate. For instance, suggesting that his 11,000-square foot penthouse was a 30,000-square foot penthouse.
And the attorney general of New York knew that Trump's property values were inflated because when it came time to pay taxes, Trump undervalued the very same properties.
It was all part of a very sophisticated real estate practice known as “lying.”

I keep going back and forth between this Planck with Gateron greens and another 60% custom build I finished recently. I find the grid layout of the Planck hard to get used to.

Originally this board was a Matias Quiet Mini, now it has White SKCM alps, and a custom textured paint job over the glossy plastic. I had a crazy idea for the paint tho, and I think it actually turned out quite nice. There is also 2 coats of matte acrylic clear coat to protect the paint and prevent chipping and flaking.

Recently got a couple grabs bags from PMK so I decided to try out SA profile by dunking my core in a big bucket of vomit. I have to say that so far, I am totally loving SA profile and absolutely loving how much quieter the board is compared to using the DSA Honeywell keycaps I had on it previously.

So nice. I've been wanting to do something similar myself. Did you have to heavily sand the case before painting?

Nope. Just scuff it up so the paint sticks. Also, wash it with alcohol afterwards to remove all the dust and any finger oils.

Ok, thanks, I assumed that because the case is so glossy it would require some extra prep.

A lot of paints 'claim' you don't need to prep plastic, but on glossy plastic, I still do it. It is better to be sure the paint will stick that to have it flake on you months later out of no where.

:-\  That seems to be the case, yeah.  :O  I'm a little surprised, since they were available long after the 10th Anniversary.  AFAIK widebasket was the only seller, and he no longer has any.  :(

Well that's sad; I still say this is the absolute best out-of-the-box experience one could hope for with a production board.  Shame that they're no longer available.

I know it's very odd given the wide arrangement of keyboards I own and have reviewed but as of late I am using my Velocifire TKL-01 the model before they switched to Outemu and used Zorroo switches.  It's odd but iv'e grown to like the Zorroo Brown switches, currently using a cheaper PBT backlit Teal keycap set on it (OEM profile) and I truly enjoy the way it feels even to far more expensive boards.  I'm honestly glad I bought two of them before they switched over to Outemu browns which I do not enjoy as much.

HHKB and Realforce 87UW! Dirty meanwhile, cleaning soonTM

^-^  RF10AE  ^-^

Argh, I  remember looking at ebay ads for a while and in the end I never bought one. Now they aren't available anymore?

:-\  That seems to be the case, yeah.  :O  I'm a little surprised, since they were available long after the 10th Anniversary.  AFAIK widebasket was the only seller, and he no longer has any.  :(

Well that's sad; I still say this is the absolute best out-of-the-box experience one could hope for with a production board.  Shame that they're no longer available.

I had both the 89S and 87U versions of these. Definitely cool, but not really a favorite colorway of mine. :X

Been using this little guy for a while:

104UK - alphas, most mods, spacebar
104UG - pipe, F1
108UG JustSystems x2 - winkeys, left and right shift (because the icon legends are bold on JIS models), kana key, backspace
Realforce Silenced Sliders
BKE Domes
Hasu BT Controller

A lot of these were purchased for the sake of two different builds and gave me a lot of spare stuff to use. I like the modern winkeys, but the ltd. editions are the only ones that have them, and JIS only has one per board, ha.

Currently back on my TADA68 which has been flashed to use QMK. Really digging the heft of it. Also, this one has box whites which are just sooooo much fun. I should take off the stock keycaps and put something else on though... Not the biggest fan of the default caps. Maybe Hyperfuse.

Been using a lightsaver v3 with 65g silent blacks for the past week or so. I like the switches a lot but I'm not huge on the layout nor the steep angle

Matias Mini Tactile Pro. Not a huge fan of the glossiness of the case, but an enjoyable keyboard to type on nonetheless.

I struggle to find people who actually want a keyboard covered in glossy plastic. Especially something designed to be touched.
