Hello, clackers! Peter from Mechfashion here.

I came up with an idea to create apparel with mechanical keyboards themed designs.
I've always wanted such clothing, but... the products I've seen never live up to my expectations.

Alright I mentioned this in the IC form, I'd love it if the TKL and Mechanical Keyboards logos would be bigger...like by a lot. Would love if those designs spanned across the majority of the front part of the shirt.

Noted down but I'm not sure if it will be possible.

I think that this idea would have to wait for the next [IC] for T-shirts but with screen-printed designs. In my opinion your design is too big to be embroidered.

I decided for embroidery because I want to get a minimalistic, subtle look. When it comes to the designs I made every single one of them except NASA.

Update #1 (21st of September):
- new versions of switches will be added to the gallery in the next update, once I collect enough feedback from this form

- new designs (HHKB keyboard layout, ALPS/Topre switch) will be added to the gallery in the next update
- other bigger, more complicated designs (on the entire chest, on the back) will be presented to you around (hopefully) November. Same with stuff like hoodies, sweatshirts, caps etc. Thanks for understanding!

Yes, I thought it might be interesting for some people in the community.

Update #2 (28th September):

"1. Cherry MX switch" design will be available at the beginning in the following colorways: Holy Panda, Kiwi, Tangerine, Cream, Alpaca, Zealio, Tealio, only outline, only outline but Kailh BOX switch - I added new renders to the gallery above (I still have to adjust the colors)
added "17. HHKB layout design"
t-shirts will be available in the following colors: black, white, navy, heather gray, ash, and following sizes S - 5XL
within two weeks I should receive first samples!

Update time!

Today I received the first samples with the embroidered switches. (photo)
The version with the outline looks great, minimalistic, matches everything, I love it.

Unfortunately, versions with colors inside don't look good :(Most likely these designs won't be available but... once the first drop is over I will make cheaper t-shirts with designs printed on the t-shirts.

Second thing - I am done with looking for ready-made blank t-shirts so I decided to make my own t-shirts from scratch, here in Poland from polish fabric. Again, I don't want to offer you apparel that isn't as best as possible.

All the blank t-shirts I bought in the past two months just don't meet my quality requirements. They are made out of bad quality fabric, stitching is bad, sizing isn't equal (for example dark grey XL is as big as black L), they shrink or get loose after a few washes, aren't available in the colors the community would like to have and many other things.

So...
I am still working on apparel. I should have new updates ready for you within two weeks, then I will show you more photos.
Also, if someone would be interested in hoodies, long sleeves, caps, or socks please let me know.

i love t shirts and collect them. As such, i think the community could benefit from a little more apparel. But to me, unless the t shirt is directly associated with a brand (keycap set, vendor, manu, etc) OR super unique, it feels like it doesn't belong. its like wearing a shirt with a car on it rather than your favorite car.
