I'm about to order some ceramic keycaps - does anyone here has it? How's the feeling? Worth it?
Which color should I get?
I think either black or white. I dont think all white would be good. Maybe I should get black alphas and white mods?

I have them. Are they worth it? Depends on what you want them for. They probably won't be your main driver, so it's purely for the gimmick.

What do they feel like? Smooth and cold. Like touching a sink.

Sound is okay, but they are relatively loud of course.

I have the original ones with the ceramic stems which seems to bite in the stems of the switches, so probably those are ruined if you take them off.

As for color, that's for you to decide. White is probably better than black, but that's my preference.

Interesting.
What I what them for - I'm thinking, I would like their low sound, thick, then probably feel of something very smooth and solid in touch?
Not my main driver like you said, but worth to have a set just to have them on once in a while? Now when v2 are on sale, $90 for TKL coverage, not bad.

What I'm worried:
-Are they too shiny, so in bright light those would reflect light so much that I would not be able to see legeds?
-Will legends fade with time? I think not, as fasr as I read, they are covered with transaprent layer on top of everything, right?
-Being made by hand (stems), would they not be perfectly aligned, but would there be some space issues?
-People say black ones are finger prints magnets, but I would like to have some black ones too. WHite ones are like definition of ceramics, so those should be always picked. But could I maybe mix - black alhas and white mods, or other way around?

I usually try to keep my desk out of direct sunlight, but that shouldn't be a problem. It's bright, but not much more than any totally white keyboard. And the actual sunlight on my desk would bother me more.

I have heard the new stems can be misaligned, but I can't speak from experience.

The white ones aren't finger print magnets per se more than ABS. But being ceramic they are also easy to clean.

I don't see the legends fading. They seem to be covered well.

The sound is okay, but you probably can get a more satisfying sound with thick double shot ABS caps.
