still looking sexy, can't wait to get my hands on one. Love the polycarb. What are the blank caps in the photos? Those look like they belong stock on the board, too cute.

The white blanks are Rama Works Grid keycaps. They were available in various colors in sets to cover grid orthos (with greater compatibility promised in future sets), some colors are sold out, but there are still some extras available.

This is probably the best looking ortho layout keyboard I've seen so far. Definitely hope I can make it into the GB.

Do you think that the stock sets of the RAMA grids will fit this keyboard? The set includes 60x1u's and 2x2u's... by the looks of the pcb layout the bottom row looks a little too wide to work with it

Unfortunately the grid sets don't have the 1.5u needed to flank the spacebars.

I have been watching this IC for weeks and weeks, and really looking forward to getting one. I went a head and ordered the littlefoot PCB to make an acrylic one, until I can get my hands on the PC version

While waiting on this, I got the littlefoot PCB and fiddled with the keymap to fit all my needs. I hoped to share the version here: https://github.com/sangww/The-Little_Foot-Keyboard-rev2.3/blob/master/QMK_Docs/little_foot/keymaps/default/keymap.c

Disclaimer: this has not been tested on a fully functioning keyboard but a few key combinations. I am still a laser cutting away from having one. As a brief description, I removed the double taps (since I was not sure how well I will be able to utilize it) and added a group of layers for mac support. But this can be easily expanded to include more dedicated macros.

I am so looking forward to the LX version, albeit not in a hurry. Hope this comes through at some point, and everyone stay safe!

I have just read through the OP and was quite intrigued with the QMK layers designed around two-key tap'n'hold.
You have me completely sold on the idea and here is to hoping this IC carries forward and into the GB stage.

The Solderable Version of the PCB does feature South facing switches, as well as a few more layout options, but with hotswap its a little more complicated and will be as shown here.

If you buy 5 or more Kits then Ill prob take a photo of my feet, have it framed appropriately, and send it with your order.

I'll update the thread to what the solderable pcb offers for clarity tomorrow. Use need X2 2u Spacebars for split space layout on hotswap. Solderable has a 2.25u/2.75u option that is much more kind on Spacebar kit Compatibility.
