7/32 hex nut driver for ibm model m

I am looking for one of these.
The cheapest I have seen it is 11.75 shipped at https://www.micro-tools.com

home depot and lowes don't seem to have it, it must be a weird size.

Mine 7/32" nut driver reliably removes and reinstalls the screws with no stripping.

What advantage would the 5.5 millimeter one give me?

Well, it's a low-torque application, so even a nut driver that is slightly loose on the screw will still work OK.

But, at least with the Craftsman sockets, I've found that 5.5mm is just right. Even though there's a low chance of stripping the screw head, why take the chance?

I'm not sure if it's thin enough wall, but otherwise, it will work.

I got one from Tower Hobbies, like iMav. Works beautifully. Although at that price it can't hurt to have a backup

That's the one clickykeyboards sells, but a different color and of course their's is 7/32". I have that too in 5.5mm and it works perfectly.

AutoZone at some point (a few years ago?) carried a deep socket 7/32 attachment.

Site says it's $4.29 at the location I last saw it.  When I saw it last, it had a plastic tag on it that made a very acceptable handle for Model M use if you don't have a screwdriver or whatever to attach it to.

Same here, and that was the best deal I could find!

Ace Hardware also sells a 7/32" deep-well socket that fits a nutdriver handle perfectly, and works quite well on the classic Model M.

No, it won't.  It's actually a hunk of plastic with a square attachment that is similar to the type of thing you'd use to attach the socket to your driver.

I just tried to pull it out, contort it, twist it...and was very unsuccessful.  It's hard for me to say if the Duralast ones they sell now come with the same style tag -- I wouldn't know since mine is old (by a few years?)
