Looks like there may have been some technical error with the form, it seems some random CONUS individuals have been charged for International shipping. Please email me at support@keyforge.com if you have been affected, and include your PayPal email so I can fix it faster. Thank you, and apologies for the hiccup.

So if I'm reading this right, you're just straight up not fulfilling people's orders that have sat for a couple months and giving them refunds instead?

I mean at least they're getting their money back, but from the standpoint of a newcomer it would certainly make me think twice about entering your sales.

6/11 sale. 5/24 sale is shipped, so if you're one that didn't receive your order I will be sending a refund if there is not a cap available for you.

It will be up to the individual, but sometimes I don't have caps left to send them of a certain colorway. I generally work these situations out to the advantage of the person who has waited.

Then why are you accepting more orders than you can produce, and sitting on people's money for months at a time?

It really sounds like poor planning on your end.

When your full time job (as stated here) is making & selling key caps, your followers/consumers should be able to expect their caps in a reasonable time frame.

According to what you said here, the caps are already pre-made 95% of the time:

Even estimating 100 caps a sale, 1 cap per person (100 individual packages that need to be shipped), there's no reason I can see that you shouldn't be able to bang that out in a week (considering this is a full time job) - so what gives with 2+ months of shipping time?

I myself work a full time job, have a wife, kid, dogs, a house, and hobbies outside of keyboards/keycaps, so I get it, life is busy as ****. But if you're serious about this being full time you shouldn't have problems shipping your sales in a quicker fashion.

I will also be creating a SLA (service level agreement) with my shipping, so that you can expect your package to ship within a certain time period when it comes to flash sales and larger themed sales. I feel like this is an important step into creating a higher level of trust between artisans and the community. It’s important to me that you guys get your **** that you paid for as quickly as possible.

What happened to this mentality?

I might be a bit naive here, but wouldn't you want to produce the thing first, then sell it?  There's nothing about artisan caps that requires pre-orders...

What am I missing?  Is this a common practice with artisan sales these days?

Unfortunately yes, many artisans have gone the route of 'Fulfillment' sales - Binge/HWS last large sale, 4x4, lasted a year or two due to their 'fulfillment' style sale. KeyForge and Bro seem to have adopted this method as well, though I don't believe every sale is like that.
