Nice!  That looks like a well put together release.  I only just got hooked on Stranger Things and finished binging the show this past weekend, this is definitely on my radar now...  :D

Yeah, it's a really good show. The album is good but I'm a little disappointed in the lack of actual "songs". It's very "soundtrack-y" in that most of the tracks are ambient and/or sfx. But that's the nature of soundtracks, I suppose. If I listen with the mindset that it's a relic from the mid-80s composed by John Carpenter, it's actually really enjoyable. :cool:

December has been a crazy month! Here's my stash of stuff from the past week-ish. Lots of VGM with some other doo-dads here and there.

Ariel Pink--one of my favourite "newer" artists. He's not really new but he's fairly newly discovered by me. This album might not be quite as good as Pom Pom (for those of you whom follow Ariel Pink) but really good, nonetheless.

Tossed my way by a friend cleaning his closet out. All original, some are in desperate need of a wet wash. Speaking of which, how do you all clean your records?

I recently bought a Spin Clean record cleaner from Amazon. It's a very simple device but it gets the job done more quickly and more cleanly than hand-washing. I pair that with Mobile Fidelity anti-static inner record sleeves.  :thumb:

That artwork! It reminds me of the Magic card, Lich's Mirror, by Ash Wood:

The Bell Witch album is fantastic and depressing, well worth the 1 hour and 20 minutes it takes to get through the single track.

Already found a contender for my album of the year, 16 days into January... Hamferđ's Támsins likam.

Wow...this made me cry a little:
I love how their music builds and builds into an epic sonic cocaphone. I just wish I knew what the lyrics meant.

Starting to get back into vinyl a bit. I used to have loads of records about 10 years ago, mostly drum & bass that I'd mix, but I sold my deck and mixer ages ago.

Been getting into some audio stuff more recently so I'm looking to pick up a decent turntable for my speakers, and start collecting vinyl, mainly soundtracks and stuff like that.

Started off the collection recently with the soundtrack to the game 'Va-11 Hall-a';

Really nice set. I like getting vinyl like this where the whole package is something special and collectible.
KBD75; Alps64 trio; some other stuff

I agree! Their energy and sound is phenomenal! Saw them live about 14 years ago. Man that was a blast!

Found the cabinet at a savers, and got all the vinyls on the floor from a hoarders house. Gotta sort them, see what im keeping, etc.

Speakers are just Bose speakers, turntable is a U-Turn. Got the pre amp, and some powered edifiers in my amazon cart, but hoping to find a nice amp and speakers on craigslist or something before I pull the trigger.

Recent acquisitions are: Frank Ocean - Blonde, August Burns Red - Constellations (Remaster), and waiting for my Tyler the Creator - Igor LE to come in the mail.
