Knob on the left and left hand macro cluster are actually better than right hand side imo, since I didn't need move my hand over when I'm still using mouse.
OLED screen is kind...tricky, but if the PCB didn't have any LED as indicators OLED screen is a better choice compared to trying to figure out which layer I'm on...

I don't want to do a second run of this case design, and so Polycarbonate is still being toyed around with. The layout will return though, same as the KL-90

Left side macro and knob with the clean look is very attractive.  I think the clean bottom is perfectly fine.  Just out of curiosity, is there any possibility of entertaining the idea for some shade of red (pastel/whatever)?  Love how this keyboard looks though - best of luck!

There is indeed! There's been some updates since posting this IC, and colors are the main thing. I'm torn between Red and Purple as a final offering. I have prototypes coming in of both colors, so we'll be able to see then!

Hi,

Does the hotswap PCB support the split spacebar option?

I like this design! Thank you for bringing it up.
Please consider the space gray version if you can. GLWIC!

This keyboard does check a lot of tick boxes for me but I can't tell why but the photos/renders just don't do it for me. As in, they don't excite me and make me think I want it!

Do you have any renders or anything with some other keycaps choice? I think it might just be down to poor choice of keycaps to show off what is technically a great keyboard

Updated the main IC post 10/11/21. Added in pictures of prototypes, vendor list, price, and new IC form for the color and material options!

Thank you for including a split spacebar support !

I hope more vendor will include this at least with the solder PCB.

That is a extremely under utilized productivity feature (and making the typing experience very comfortable too by reducing pinky modifier access)

I completely agree with all that you said here! Thanks

Split space is a necessity to support! It'll be supported on both Solder and Hotswap PCBs

Two hotswap layouts is a welcome surprise.  :D

I’ll take one of the pastel coloured ones, please and thank you.

Really excited by this! Hope I have the chance to pick one up. I love the split spacebar hotswap support too.

Also, it's a lovely idea to hold a charity auction, I hope you consider the Breast Cancer Research Foundation as they are one of the better charities who support breast cancer research directly in many countries (not just the US) and last I checked nearly 90% of their funding goes directly to research. Or The National Breast Cancer Foundation who are dedicated to providing low cost screening and diagnostic services and direct nearly 80% of their funds towards those programs.

I don't know if they've cleaned up their act since, but probably one of the best known charities (Susan G. Komen) engaged in some very unsavory practices for a charity and only dedicates a very tiny portion of their funds to actual research.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I've been doing research in, and I was starting to settle down on to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Low cost screening is something I wish everyone had access to, and something I can feel comfortable getting behind and supporting.

**** me, I never looked at the protos. That Amethyst made me nut so hard. I haven't joined the discord yet so I didn't realize it had been changed from pastel purple to that beautiful color. This is going to be the first purple keyboard I've ever felt strongly enough to get in on a GB for it.

Not sure if you’ve already ruled out polycarbonate but I’m casting my vote for it!

I love this! What is the size/diameter for the rotary knob? I’m hoping it’s compatible with THOK/Rama artisan knobs.

This keyboard is a dud, there are 0 updates from the seller, kiko. Buyers are left in the dust. This guy is a scammer.

Please avoid him at all costs.

EU fellas are double screwed by this.

Kiko has not delivered and there's delays after delays, furthermore the whole situation with MyKeyboard is not gonna help at all.

If you bought this board from the above mentioned vendor, best course of action is to exchange it for current in stock stuff.
