Nah.  I'm kinda "done" with keyboards.  Not enough truly new stuff out to keep my interest.  I think all the work the old timers (XsPhat, iMav, ashort, bigpook, sixty, webwit, Chloe, Sandy55 ch123, bhtooefr, lowpoly/sofa king, CChan/Tales, lam47, kishy, Welly, Ms. Keyboard, and yes, even ripster)* did to promote, understand, and to some extent, evangelize quality keyboards has been done, and now they have a solid spot in the marketplace.  Back when mechanical keyboards were hard to get, it was a lot more fun finding new stuff, importing from overseas, etc.  Now, I can jump on Amazon and get what I want.  It might be a bit boring now, but there was a lot of hard work done back in the day and it was well worth it. 

Unfortunately, we got to a point where the only thing left to discuss/debate were our own personalities, egos and d*ck sizes and we all see how that turned out.  We're splintered among 3 sites now (here, DeskThority, reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards) and we all hate each other.  I'm glad all that worked out so well; putting the "unity" in "community."

You make a good point. When this started, we were blindly ordering crap POS keyboards off ebay in the hopes it may come with Cherry browns. I bought my 86U from Japan for something like $15,000 and it took page translations and screencaps of websites and a few emails to get it. The nights luring KBDMania ...

And apparently they listened since you can now get a mechanical keyboard at Best Buy without stealing a register. Those were the good days.

 itlnstln, I have gotten pretty out tech in general too. I have a nice phone, tab and comp and I see no need to upgrade. It's pretty new. I do want to buy a keyboard, so I'm mainly here for the chat. I had 3300 posts when I came back, so I guess I'm comfy here, lol.

no, lol. I gave my iPad to my son and I couldn't do that to him. I bought an Android tablet and have not missed the iPad at all.
