Key cap sets from days gone by...

I am quite new to GH and as such missed quite a few group buys for key sets like raindrop, klaxon etc. I was wondering if these sets were available anywhere still for interested parties or if the classifieds is the only option now. Do successful sets ever make a comeback?

If popular enough, sometimes sets do make a come back.  There were two CCnG IIRC.

Or sometimes people redo the GB with a slight variation in colour.

Also sometimes sets are available from vendors.  Techkeys, for example, "sponsor" some group buys, and make extra sets available for retail sale (at a slightly higher price).

KeyPop do this too.

But in the short term, the best bet is Classifieds.
