It's a very simple set, featuring Korean sublegends in a beige color scheme. It will work with basically any beige set you've seen (GMK, OG Cherry, etc.). It's easier to say "if it isn't L9 alphas, then it won't be compatible".

And here's the most important update: dates and prices!

This group buy will run from June 21st to July 19th. Open for 4 weeks, plenty of time to get in. Some time to save up too

GMK got back to me about the |\₩ keys, and I'll be adding both the R2 1.5u and the R1 1u. Please see the revised kit below:

I have found two vendors in NA and EU to run this too. I'm currently looking for a Asia/KR proxy, so once that has been found, I'm sure I'll be able to announce who the NA/EU vendors are :thumb:

Update #1:

Thought I'll give a post 24 hour update. I have no idea if it's a lot, but there were 120 responses.

81% would like the R2 1.5u pipe key with ₩, so I will get it added to the kit. I'll also ask about the possibilities of added a R1 1u version too.

61% said no to the punctuation and numbers. I'm fine with that - It would raise the kit price probably by 80%, and open it up to not that many more people (who knows how many of the 61% would join if they were added too).

I'll start speaking to vendors too. If anyone has recommendations, let me know! I will definitely be looking for US, EU, and Asia.

Easy and afordable. Any new legend will require new molds and its priced added to the pricing of the set, unless GMK wants to give the mold for free.

Cherry never had Hangul doubleshot molds AFAIK, so the only available Hangul font is the Red Burgundy one, which GMK created the molds for.

This font style is considered more modern and eye pleasing that the serif style shown by SixtyLife which is more common on older keyboards.  I recall the font was chosen very carefully by cocobrais, Burgundy GB designer.

I think there is no additional cost for Korean mold.
GMK has Korean molds. And they are the only mold they have. I created my own Hangul(korean) fonts and sent them to GMK, which resulted in the addition of a Korean keycap addon to the Burgundy keycap set.

The previous identical set was sold for 36 eur (28 eur while in sale) Korean Kit KS-GMK-BURG-KRK.
So this will be surely a huge success

GMK has Korean molds. And they are the only mold they have. I created my own Hangul(korean) fonts and sent them to GMK, which resulted in the addition of a Korean keycap addon to the Burgundy keycap set.

The title of the post has the word BEIGE in it. The main post explicitly says:

To be completely honest, I don't want to invest any money into this IC. I think for custom colors & combinations it makes sense, but everyone knows the color, and everyone can look at Burgundy for the actual doubleshots.

Response has been very strong so I don't think they're needed anyway.
