GMK Minimal 2 keeps all that elements that made GMK Minimal so popular: modern text mods, a clean black on white colourway and affordable kit design. The white used is a perfect balance between the very bright WS2 and "old school" beige of CP, it also makes for a perfect matching to e-white boards! In addition to this we’ve also added the option for some alternate accents and used the new centred arrows to keep consistent with the centred text mods, more of which below!

Addition adds options for a OS modified bottom row, 60%s with arrows through the 2u shift, 660 layouts with the extra 2.25u shift, full ISO UK support and some options for different legends in the 65% and caps lock area.

Obscure adds support for a wide variety of 40% keyboards, including ortholinear ones and Minivan type layouts. Included are the necessary modifiers and spacebars ranging from 1u to 3u. This kit also includes a second b key and the needed spacebars for split/ergonomic keyboards like the TGR Alice.

For those of you who really want to take the minimal theme to the ultimate level. As the name suggest mono strips all secondary legends from the keys giving your board a very appealing clean look.

This kit adds compatibility for ISO NO, SE, FL, DK, DE layouts. The kits includes a 125u Shift and ISO Enter meaning this is a one stop shop for all things Norde!
RAMA caps
Of course we couldn't launch this set without bringing back the Black X RAMA cap. This keycap is milled from a solid piece of brass and PVD coated to a flawless shiny finish. It features RAMA's X design which is filled in with enamel.
In addition to that we also decided to continue on the more playful trend the Colour accents introduced to this set by designing 3 new RAMA caps. These too are milled out of a single block of aluminium and e-coated for a durable finish. The caps feature simple, organic shapes filled in with enamel colour matched to the vivid accent colours found in the Colour kit.

Are projected sales for GMK Minimal 2 low?
I can't help but feel a bit saddened that the base kit is the same $99.99 but has 6 less keys than round 1.

Combination of price hike in international shipping due to Covid making GMK to vendor shipping a lot more expensive and USD:EUR continuing to drop (like a 5-6% drop since GMK MoDo 2 happened). FYI the base kit is about $10 cheaper in the EU compared to MoDo 2.

I am a user of NorDe and in this round also a buyer. I am grateful that you have chosen to include Norde even though numbers are always low.

Same here, even finding decent wob/bow caps with norde support is hard and with this kitting I had to jump on this. A bit sad about the colour kit not including big enters though.

I would never call these renders. Because of my graphing method, the images leave much to be desired. Some look better than others due color interaction.

Its really weird that the international community doesnt hop on the intl-kit. Did all you guys already give up on the correct legends on your ANSI-boards? :-(

Got base + Colors. I'd like to get Rama too, but i'm also planning to get GMK Posh, KAT Mizu and SA Bliss, i had to pass on Rama. Sucks to have limited budget. :(

Hey everyone
We got the colour samples in! At first glance they were pretty close but we have decided to try and tweak the red and blue somewhat making the red a tad redder and more saturated and the blue lighter. Keep in mind colours change based on lighting conditions and such but I tried to portray them accurately in the pictures below (also smol Dharma leek)

No, there was GMK Bleached last year which was WS2 with icon mods and there was an IC for GMK Paper some years ago which was WS1 with icon mods but the GB never happened as far as I know.

That depends on the vendor.
Some vendors do ship Rama-only/deskmat-only orders before the rest of the GB items arrive and others ship once they receive everything that was part of the group buy.

Just confirmed with Omnitype specifically and they said they would! AFAIK most vendors do ship out RAMA/Deskmat only orders ahead of GB.

No. Check Omnitype’s website for progress, they recently received more colour samples and it’s not going to ship from GMK until after all the other sets that ran before it. Pono ran in July 2020 and is currently scheduled to ship in July, and given this ran in August it’ll come after that.

Currently scheduled for August/September delivery, but color matching is still going on, so my own realistic estimate is end of the year.

We have officially approved all three accent colors and are now just waiting our turn in line for production.
We have no new shipping estimate from our last one that said August to September shipping to customers.

When this set ran, GMK sets weren't taking 1.5 to 2 years to deliver. The excessive delays are a relatively new thing. Fwiw, I have stopped joining GMK gbs due to the delays.

I think every white Rama is using the same white. They use colors that are somewhat close but never really match. (Unless its like black maybe)
The infills are most times pretty accurate though.
