[IC] Runescape Inspired Keyset (Need Ideas and Suggestions)

Hello Everyone!

I had this idea about doing a Runescape inspired keyset. After much thought, I decided to go with God armors, namely, Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak.
I really like the Rune (blue) colors and I want it to be done on a keyset.
Any runescape players/was players/non-players in here? I'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions. What set should we go with?

I don't like how the zamorak set turned out at all. Is that the correct shade of red?

I was using the designs from RS3, and the red they use is a neon one. I'll try to whip up quick renders in RS2 color palettes and see how it goes.

I know and I feel the same. Just wanted to see the differences in colors between the two.

The RS2 pallete for Zamorak looks much better IMO.

However, I still think Saradomin is the best looking

Never even played Runescape but the Zamorak and Guthrix sets look really cool, the colours are great - I'd be down.

Guthix all the way, but the saradomin kit does look nice!  Nice idea for the rune colored alphas too.  Novelty Party Hat key? and the god icons obviously.  O takes me back.....green dragon farming in the wild before I was strong enough to ward people off...

Lots of possible novelties for this. But we'll see if this goes further.

Saradomin is the most likely to succeed/do well since white on blue is the safest color scheme, but I'd like to see RS3 Guthix become a thing since it's more unique/interesting.  RS3 version because it has better contrast than the RS2 version (contrast or lack thereof also being the reason I don't think Zamorak is the way to go).

I agree. I'm still torn between the two honestly.

I'f we're gonna go with Guthix, the RS3 version would be better. Saradomin will also allow us to add colored novelty caps that would match weill with the set.

Hey guys!

A few votes are in and it really looks like Saradomin is the way to go. I will be focusing my efforts on that colorway.
I also did a really quick and rough render with the available resources online just to see what it would look like.

I have seen similar projects with the sameish color theme, but with a different shade overall. I don't mind, we'll let the people decide.

I've been thinking about what should be the name for this set. The best I've come up with is "Sara", to keep the likeness Saradomin, but not to interfere with Runescape's trademarks (if there are any).

I think that's a fair choice. Best to avoid any legal issues + the name isn't bad in and of itself.

Never played any RuneScape games. Guthix is just flat out nice looking though. I rate it "would buy out of 10".

Wow. Looks like this year is gonna be the year of blue themed sets.
There's lots of concepts floating around reddit every now and then and most of them are of blue themed.
With the Saradomin set, its gonna be hard to differentiate this with all the others.

What do you guys think?

As much as I vastly prefer oldschool to RS3, the sets themselves do look better with RS3 colors. Except maybe for zamorak, but that doesn't seem to be the one that's most in demand.

Yes those are planned as well. We just need to have the main set going first.
I have some ideas for alternate mod text though. Though they seem stupid.

I voted Guthix because he is my favourite god but I prefer the Sara set. And definitely the more muted taupe sort of colour.
