Nice - want that one but ouch! Not sure I can scrape that kind of cash together for a keyboard - hold on,  wait a minute - I guess I don't really need BOTH kidneys!!

Do beamsprings usually fetch this kind of money? Lately I've been seeing them go for $3-400. Was this one the like the holy grail of beamsprings?

Maybe someone with deep pockets was desperate for one.  It did look like it was in nice shape, but that price was way out of line in my opinion.

Even with it being as rare as it was, I wouldn't pay that much for it.
But it's clearly worth that much to someone.

Even though I could have spared a kidney, I figure that I can buy a lot of nice keyboards for that kind of money.

That does seem high, but it was in excellent condition. Your eyesight's probably better than mine, but I couldn't detect any signs of use in the photos. And this one had the cool fold-out documentation compartment, another rarity. With things that show up as rarely as this, it all depends on who's been waiting for it!

I bought it.

I will make a thread on it, the keyboard is in mint condition with manual never used.

Needs some cleaning on the inside but no corrosion.

I got some deep pockets so didn't mind spending the cash for it.

Grats, second only to 3279 imo. I think you will be quite pleased.
