Looks interesting! I'd personally prefer separated arrow keys, i think it looks cleaner
Best of luck!
Looks like this might be my first Alice-like! Very good looking.
I’d just wish it had the extra B at the right cause with my first split I discovered I’m a right-B kind of typist.
any ballpark price estimates?
Just when I thought I had missed my shot with every Alice-like in recent times, this comes along to brighten my day.
Personally wish the extra B on the right side. That function key spot is perfect, sad to not see it here.
Additionally, the this one might be hard but.. any way we can line up the middle bolts with the crevice splitting the board in the middle? that offset is killing me, even though I can see it's just keeping the symmetry with the bolts themselves.
Definitely will be keeping an eye out for this one!
(Any goals as far as timelines go for this board?)
The top mount and 5 degree angle has got me interested in this board. Hopefully, it won't be too expensive. If it is, I won't buy it. ;)Hoping they can keep the sub 200 price point!
Looks great. Happy to see arrow keys. Will this be another limited GB?
it looks like its gonna be very hollow and not very heavy, is that true?
Speaking of it being hollow, any chance of offering case and/or plate foam to go with this?+1 on the plate foam.

Stunning looking board! The rectangular shape of the board and the spacious top really drives it home! Though I think it would be better if you can somehow not have the screws on the top, so it would look a lot cleaner. Also, such an open, spacious looking keyboard would really be nice to have logos/design/external weights! Layout wise, I agree with the separated arrow keys. I am windows key user, but I think the WKL here makes more sense. BTW, will it support split backspace?
Filled the form.+1 on having the fr4 plate as a primary option.
Having owned an SKB I'm also voting for foam to put in between the pcb and plate, and would like to see the option to have the FR4 plate as a primary plate or have the option to use it instead of the steel plate. One of the main reasons I sold my SKB was that even with foam almost everywhere, I simply couldn't make it feel nice with the steel plate.
New update: arrows separated, right side B added, new renders posted, banner added.
Is there going to be an option to block the right-side B?+1 on a option to skip the right-side B.

I think there are enough interested in both options.

Any Idea on group buy date ? Very interested !(https://i.imgur.com/LApNetc.jpg)

That would completely mess up the placement of the bottom row. 10/10 you wouldn’t be able to type anymore :PNew update: arrows separated, right side B added, new renders posted, banner added.
While some like these changes (including me), is there possibility BNM<>? Rshift can be moved to left to remove another "B" and put Fn key on right of Rshift?
At least the possible buyers against the double B will reconsider :D
Of course it is just an option. You can choose double B or single B with FnThat would completely mess up the placement of the bottom row. 10/10 you wouldn’t be able to type anymoreNew update: arrows separated, right side B added, new renders posted, banner added.

Just caught this, but I would be seriously tempted to get in as I've been keeping my eyes open for an Alice-like also. I'm disappointed about the separated arrow keys, as I prefer them joined, but it's not a deal-breaker. I'm neutral on the extra 'B'. If I could make a change, it would be to have a win-key option--at least on the left side, as I find that indispensable.Winkey isn't happening, sadly.
you say it is going to have a custom pcb, will it be programmable, if so with which firmware? and also will it be a murica only GB or will there be a way to get them in europe (at a reasonable price i mean)?

PCB is QMK compatible. Primatech is from Finland and these will be sold globally.

Any chance for 2 different tops? One with second B and one without second B? I personally really dislike right side B, has no function whatsoever for me.+1 on this

That's great. So it would be sold with proxies in different area?
And I love Finland!

to leave the option for everyone it may be possible to do it like "cheap" computer cases do and only partially cut it? although it may look bad afterward and usually those cases uses very thing steel so i do not know of the feasibility of such an option here.Any chance for 2 different tops? While we would love to do this, the vast majority voted for another b-key. Having a second top option with a low MOQ would raise the price for everyone.
Edit: to add background: it would be my 1st alice-like board so i do not know if the double B will be something i will use or not yet, so i do not really care either way if that makes sence
A lot of interest if it manages to be under $200!Prices will range from 130-180! Check the discord
I love the arrow keys in the new renders (slightly separated), but I managed to say the opposite on the google form - went full dumb on that, sorry.
Wish tons of luck on the GB, count me in.
I assume the pcb isn't included in the kit, if it isn't, whats the price or a rough idea?A lot of interest if it manages to be under $200!Prices will range from 130-180! Check the discord

You should join the discord and ask smol about it. That is all the info we have till now.I assume the pcb isn't included in the kit, if it isn't, whats the price or a rough idea?A lot of interest if it manages to be under $200!Prices will range from 130-180! Check the discord

Very nice, looks clean! I would definitely like to join for this!If there is room for foam, then yes.
I particularly like that the Esc key is "close" to the rest of the keys, so it is easy to access in normal typing, so you don't have to reach for it.
Also, nice with the space added for the arrow keys!
I've read that the steel can be hard/noisy, is foam necessary for a good typing sound?
Edit: Happy to see that it's a product of a neighboring country!
I love the idea of having the arrows keys on the Alice and I am all in, but I am wondering since the bottom is a straight cut, there is a lot of spacing between the bottom row and the edge of the keyboard. I am afraid that it might affect the ergonomic factor and the feel of typing.
Primatech is a registered security company, I'd change that name before you get a cease and desist..
You have no link to a website and you logo also doesn't match the austrian primatech company.
Things like this can really quickly ruin people's trust in ICs and GBs in general and by extension the geekhack forums.

I am not a lawyer, but I think it's okay for name collisions to occur between products / companies / whatever as long as there is no possibility of confusion. Pretty sure that would be the case here. Also, people losing trust in GBs and GH because of it?? Don't you think that's going a little overboard?

I don't think you have to worry too much about trademark infringement by making this keyboard and selling under the namePrimatech is a registered security company, I'd change that name before you get a cease and desist..

"TGR" has 131 trademarks globally. "LZ" has 349. "TX" has 1,878.
I don't think this is really something that comes to mind when people are buying boards.
sooo clean! love the separated arrow keys. been looking for an alice (or alice-like in this case) keyboard and this might just be itHey man sorry but this project died as the op has some stuff he needed to deal with and no one picked it back up
Is it going to be pure white or an off white color? Its dead, my dude. OP has been gone for months now without any notice on project future. The person working on PCB wasn't in the loop of OP leaving and so they also stopped working on it.
