I've been reading up.. and it says.. the brita /pur / filters only really produce a better tasting water, instead of actually filtering out the pollutants..
now, I realize this may in fact be propaganda of the installation filter people..

It uses a big activated charcoal filter, they couldn't possibly claim activated charcoal doesn't filter things because that's just science. Are they saying science is wrong?

Tap water "should" be good already. Brita will effectively mostly improve the taste. I got use to the taste of filtered water and can only drink tap water if I am doing exercise.
I have a Brita at home and it works very well and give water comparable to what you would buy from a water dispenser thing. And the minerals in the water are GOOD for your health anyway.
