If i am gone use numbers to name it i prefer 1984. sounds vintage. Or 110,it's the police number in China like 911.

No one answered my question in the QQ group, is it so called 萌新没人权?So I just ask it here: will this project finish (all products made) before September? So hard to get an answer from you DaLao.

Ohh those groups have quite many ppl, true? Not expecting YOU to answer, but just anyone.

Fine, not before Sep., pass, no more question, thx a lot.

Revo group have 500 ppl,but they don't know about this so they can't answer you. It's just me run this myself.

Just can't give you a precise date cause so many things could go wrong causing delay. I have experienced that with my last GB.

I expect this GB to start in April and lead time is 3 months after payment.

So excited about this!

Is 1x PCB, 1x red aluminum plate, 1x polycarbonate plate still guaranteed per HHKB?

Not 100% sure but I think its 1 pcb, 1 stainless steel plate, the housing, and polycarb plate is extra.

Revo said it was going to be a red aluminum plate a few pages back, and a polycarbonate plate (Since they're cheap to make). I'm not sure where you got stainless steel from, but if that can be added too I'm not complaining. I tried a good quality steel plate and it felt great with linears!

Ah I read back and yea he's doing aluminum. Not sure if the polycarb is included or not though.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for free polycarbonate plates and maybe a steel plate option too. Worst case scenario, LeandreN has amazing steel plates (I'm using one with my linears!) The thought of a red aluminum plate sounds really nice too though!

pc plate is a sure thing. It is very cheap here.i never use ss plate so that's a no. Alu plate just have the option between red and silver. So 2 plate in one kit. Alu and PC. I am in anode factory so color sample will come soon.

Super hyped about the polycarbonate plate. Has an estimated price for the kit been discussed yet?

Said $370, trying to get down to $350. But that was before the anode factories shut down so I'm unsure of updated pricing.

Name suggestion: Revo GH Pro. Simple and references the Geekhack exclusivity and HHKB Pro.

Second suggestion: Revo GHKB Pro. This one is a little more heavy handed on the HHKB reference.

I expect this GB to start in April and lead time is 3 months after payment.

1. I'm super duper interested.
2. Do we have a more precise time period of GB start now that it is April?
3. Naming: I'm a fan of Future/time jokes. I think we should go with "Revo 1984"

I still thinking about the naming for this kit. I prefer something have a sense of modernity.

Still, thanks for your advice. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

If i am gone use numbers to name it i prefer 1984. sounds vintage. Or 110,it's the police number in China like 911.

Or 1996, that's the year the original HHKB was invented by Wada!  ;D

Would the brass be sealed? So it doesn't oxidize.
