IIRC, GMK charges 30-40% less for blanks than they do for doubleshot keycaps. This could have changed since my memory is from like 4 years ago a la GMK Mondrian but I think it should still be around that price.

I'm definitely in for a white and CMYK set no matter what though!

Thanks for the ergo kits!

However, since the caps are blank, almost all 1u needed for the ergo and some 1,5u keys are already available on the main kit. Maybe we should take advantage of that.

You will only have to add 13 keys to the main kit to support ergo boards, instead of having a separate ergo kit. Otherwise, ergo users will need to buy the main kit and the ergo kit, which will result in buying almost double of the keys actually needed.

If I counted correctly, the keys that need to be added are:
1x 1u R2
2x 1,5u R1
4x 1,5u R2
2x 1,5u R3
4x 2,0u R2

Hmm, wondering if it's possible for you to sell the split spacebar options by themselves. I have no need for blank keycaps except for my split spacebar, and split spacebar keycaps are really hard to find!

Hmm, I think what I'll end up doing is making the spacebars their own kits that way people can get them without having to buy the entire base kit.

Well, there have been sets like MoDo and Minimal that were $99.99 which is technically sub 100, but yes, it's more than likely that this will be the cheapest GMK set on the market

also left feedback regarding the actual kiting for ergo. its missing support for a few other boards (boardwalk/boardrun, other ergo kits). mudbeam had a good ergo kit (just subtrack the accent bars).

Is there any way we could add an accent spacebar pack just like the accent r4 mod pack? Unsure if GMK does 1.5u convex, but I bet the ortho community would eat up small GMK bars, especially in stock colors to complement their sets.

I thought I read some people talking about some other runs of GMK blanks that they sound different and were lighter in mass than their double-shot counterparts.

From what I can tell, the doubleshots and the blanks are the same thickness (or very very close). It looks like on the doubleshots the outer shell is thinner to account for the inner mold adding thickness.

I don't know about the mass and sound difference, but I would imagine that yes, different mass keycaps would affect the sound. I don't have a scale percise enought to weight a blank vs a doubleshot, but it may be something I want to look into in the future.

Just wanted to second this request for separate ergo kits. I'd much rather be able to buy the ergo kits to pair with other GMK kits that use CR/WS1 as the base color.

To be fair I think the original appeal was to get to try GMK caps for cheaper, so switching over kind of changes the scope. Not fan of it now being PBT but the colors are still pretty good so I might still try.
