I also tried passing on the engraving via email but did not get an answer. Would be nice to get some direct communication on what the current status is.

I know long waits without much to say for them can be frustrating, but I've been amusing myself with a little game I like to call, "Which will arrive first?"  The Modern M0110 or XDA Oblique? 
Since I plan to use the two together, I haven't been in a hurry to have one without the other.  But I do find it a bit ironic that both have been on similar trajectories.

Just got an email update:

Hey folks,

Quick update on the Modern M0110 group buy--we found a new engraver!

In terms of process and general timeline, I received emails from some of you about canceling engraving, I haven’t processed all of the refunds yet but will try to finish that this week as well as getting the first batch of non-engraved boards Cerakoted this week to ship the following week. Timing is still TBD on when shipping will finish, but we will start incrementally and try to move as fast as we can, and once the pace stabilizes will try to give an ETA if we can.

Here are a couple pictures from the engraver, including a preview of the standard serial number engraving. The board you see here will ship out to Jan in the next week or two for him to QA the Cerakote finish.

okay fellas got some good news. he said non engraved boards could start shipping in 2 weeks. Engraved boards still dont have an estimate as engraving timeline is still an x factor.

Personally, i'm just opting out the engraving. My board was no. 04 i think, i want that engraving but i also want to get this over with

Hey everyone,

All serial number engraving refund requests have been processed. If you think you were supposed to get an email and refund but didn't please send me a *new* email and I'll check in on it.

We are making progress but I don't have anything too concrete to share right now other than we are tweaking some aspects of surface finishing (which includes Cerakote, anodizing, and engraving) and hope to give another update by end of week next week with more specifics.

In the interest of moving forward, I am not going to accept any individual questions about group buy status or order changes other than shipping address changes (I want to make sure you can actually receive your order!). It takes a lot of time to respond to all of you, and don't want to give out information piecemeal (e.g., if I mention something to one person, other folks may not receive that information as well). You have all been super awesome and patient with the group buy and I appreciate that, just please be mindful that requesting more communication on an individual level slows down progress for the entire group.
