After 3 months of searching, I finally found it....

And I also picked up a brand new (unused) roller ball model, so if the wheel on this thing turns out to be screwy, or the feet are ruined/missing, it can be restored

Is that the actual mouse with original box that you are getting for that price, or is it just a stock photo?

MUCH worse....you have to press those keys way too hard for them to register, and there's always one key that needs that extra push.

I dunno, but it looks like the actual item. The guy seems to be a private seller (not a company) and the only other item he's selling has the same bedding in the background (this), and the MS stock photo is this:

Well if you look at the title of the listing it doesn't say "optical" or anything suggesting it, and with a gazillion ball mice of that model going for even cheaper its not very surprising

I just found it by chance going through sveral pages of "intellimouse" lol.

And its not like mice back then had any accessories anyway, no fancy weights or different friction feet or anything. Just a disk.
