What was the reason for the mod color change? To make it easier on the eyes?
We're trying to keep sets unique as much as possible. These colors were something that we always wanted to do at Originative. This is a much more proper collaboration in our own opinion.

Very nice, I think the softer mods gray would match very nicely with the aluminum. It gives the set a dreamy feel with the powdery gray. I am a little concerned with contrast legibility on the mods, but I'll see how that comes off when I receive the set.
Also the icon mods look fresh, as I think the text + icons look are starting to look dated to me.
I noticed this when looking at kekkon's Dolch Reborn vs Sky Dolch (still a gorgeous set, as I'm currently rocking that with Miami accents and Magenta mods

That's how I felt at first. You can look at our new banner picture to get a better feel of the contrast. The Cyan is definitely vibrant. This is what people were scared of when Sky Dolch came out, but it's the samething almost.

The other day on originative.co, I noticed that the Hyperfuse listing included a "Coming Soon" notice, so I've been watching... Lucky me that "soon" turned out to be a matter of days. :)
I went ahead and went in for this. While I'm personally a fan of the text mods over the icon mods, it's still a nice, clean look (and I'm a fan of the general colorway since seeing pics from the original run). I'm going to experiment with mixing in the accent kit and my Sky Dolch mods; I'm betting it'll look great.
sounds great. you'll be surprised how good the redux is.

Ordered a set and it looks good. The lighter mods are more subtle. The legends don't contrast as well with the lighter gray, but I think it contrasts better with the set (and they are still sharp enough).
Fn came scratched which is a shame because I wanted to use it. The tray works well but the little addon trays GMK uses are awful. Every set I receive the keys shift around on top of each other and get ****ed up. Should just ship them in a bag.
Make sure to email us the information. We'll give the details to GMK.

Now that GMK Red Honey and Red Honey Cyrillic have their R2 1u Delete keycap with the arrow icon pointing in the correct direction (to the right), could GMK HF Redux get a little fix kit including that cap? An "extended" fix kit could also include the missing 1800 caps with icon legends.
This along with missing icon mods, icon esc (gray & accented), 00, and windowed/stepped windowed caps lock, and accent numpad enter. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Depends on the lighting, that picture in my mind exaggerates the contrast quite a bit, while Originative's photos reduce the contrast a hair.
Also, having Ocean Dolch (same color mods as OG Hyperfuse), the Redux mods aren't really lighter than OG mods, but are cooler. I think the Redux mods play a bit nicer with the cool silver color that clear anodized aluminum has. Also, it was a good move on Sherry's part to go with icons vs text, as the icons seem easier to read in TU2 on this new gray than had it been text.
It's quite a beautiful set in person, and pairs excellently with silver aluminum.
