Since we both live on the same coast, I imagine I'll have mine pretty quick once they're shipped.

Edit: Just got shipping notification! I hope to see this sometime next week.

So excited.

Sorry I was MIA the last few days, all but 2 orders went out as I'm waiting for more screws.

Bim and wraul, your order will go out this week.

Thanks

Mine is "out for delivery" ! Maybe I'll bike home and pick it up at lunch.

edit: picked it up from my old address. this case is beautiful. Puts my KMAC to shame. Pictures to come when I get home.

edit: took it apart: it's excellent. Teensy channel is great. overall beautiful.

I am, however, missing a rubber foot. What model is it so I can order a spare?

edit: typing on it now. I went with 62g whites and a stock white for the spacebar (needs to be heavy to hold up the titanium spacebar I put on it. Of all my kb's this deserves it the most. It's excellent!

I have all cherry stabs except for spacebar where I went costar 'cause I have exactly zero cherry stabilizer wires that length.

Some things to note:
screws are non-metric. Closest for case is 2.5mm hex (little big) and closest for internal is T10 (little small) I'll likely replace these with metric ones eventually.
Case comes to a nice point (angle). I really love the back side of the keyboard. You'll know when you see it. This is begging for cherry profile.

You will have to use in'switch LEDs for capslock and scrolllock. I don't have either installed and don't need 'em!

The only real "gripe" I have is to keep the case bolts the same size, the rear ones have really deep holes and I couldn't get them to work well with my screwdriver. I had to pull an allen wrench set out of my bike bag to get them in/out. still, it looks excellent.

The machining is really really good on this. Made in the USA and very high quality! OTD wishes they had this.

The top plate is very thin and light, wasn't really expecting that.

The teensy cutout channel in the inside of the bottom case and the cablerouting are both really good.

Things I need to fix on mine:
one keyswitch (4) isn't fully seated, need to hit it with the iron real quick.
gotta come up with a worthy keymap (hint: dvorak/qwerty)
need to find a fourth bumpon and install those
Put cherry keycaps on it instead of tai-hao

That's excellent news, dorkvader! I am eagerly waiting for mine to come to me here in Melbourne, Australia (I say eagerly as the 2 weeks I'm expecting to wait is going to kill me haha).

Do you think we could some pics?

Thanks for the feedback DV!. I'll send you out another set of rubber feet this week(this means someone else got an extra one :P).

I'll get the size needed to remove the screws when I get home. Those are SAE(standard) screws and the thread is 4-40.

also, did you need to add some type of padding under your PCB?

Well, I will be doing this most likely, but I have a ton of high quality wool felt left over from a failed model F mat replacement experiment, so I plan to use that.

That bottom case = extremely nice

bumpon goes here. More nice machining! You can also see a screw

inside of the top case. It's thinner than the KMAC, and I love it.

Case bits. You can see the bumpons beneath the plate.

All soldered up and ready for keycaps!

I'll put some keycap / plate shots up when I replace the tai-hao with cherry :p

I am (im)patiently waiting for a letter from the customs, that my case has arrived.
But great for everyone who has already got their case.
Please post some more cool pictures!

I want to see that blue case up close!  Blue + gold is so very nice on this case.  Whoever ordered it better post some pretty assembly photos!

Recommend me a good image host and I will. I'm out of space on my imgur. I took lots more pictures.

Has anyone else built theirs? I've typed and gamed on it. White light switches are fantastic and sound great in the case.

It's very hard to pick up without the feet on it, as it wants to "stick" on the table from air friction. Cymbals have the same issue.

Flickr.  Pretty much unlimited space now.  Used to have a cap on visible photos for free accounts, but not anymore.  Just don't link with their official links: use the actual URL html links with {img}  {/img}.  Then it uploads to this site properly for zooming in.

Hard to describe without pictures, but in a nutshell my nitpicks are the cutouts of the upper half have some imperfections in the corners, the case doesn't feel totally sandblasted smooth, and I thought there would be more beveling on the edges, they are pretty sharp!

Everything else about it is just stunning.

Gottcha, The case wasn't sand blasted but was straight line sanded. Could have went a little wider with the corners. Thanks for the input!.

STill need to assemble mine, just been sitting here.

I actually think it looks amazing with those sharp angles and the noticeable sanding grooves--very industrial and very "heavy brick of metal".

I actually was surprised by the finish for this case because the material still felt so raw when I first pulled it out. It's kind of hard to describe but it makes it unique.

I like the feel of the raw-ish aluminum. It feels a lot different from the finish on my LZ-GH, which feels a lot more refined due to it probably being sandblasted and then hard anodized.

I'm still debating whether or not I want to put my Nixdorf switches on it or just order some clears from mechanicalkeyboards. Since TP has been MIA, I'm still lacking in a bunch of parts....

Nixdof?

The cherry switches with clear housing tops.

I was considering putting clear housing tops in this, but decided to save it for a backlit keyboard.

Looking good, rindorbot!

I just got an email update saying mine was at my local post office and should be delivered any minute now!

Excited  ^-^

EDIT:

And just as I expected it arrived. My god this thing is amazing. Better than I hoped for and I had hoped for a lot!

Thanks for running this buy, boost, boiler, and anyone else who contributed. This case is a work of art. Simply perfect. Now to get building!

EDIT2:

So started building it and I just realised that I've been sent a plate with 7x space bar and not 6.25x

Loving my case.. except the stabilizer holes on the plates are a big small.. pinching my costair staibliers and making them useless.. will have to figure out how to grind the slots bigger while the thing is built...
