Since I consider only new keyboards, I call this a good deal.

Only 18 people have reviewed this seller.

No cable included.

He doesn't provide the date nor show the back label.

It is a 1391401 but the best 1391401s are the ones made in 1988 or earlier (as Idiot_Hacker has explained in detail). Seeing that this one is a blue label 1391401, it is made in 1992 or after.

thanks just picked this up, been lurking on this forum for a while now looking for keyboard advice.  it's too bad it doesn't come with a cable, and i'm too cheap to buy one so time to bust out the soldering iron.

congrats on your purchase. new cables can be had from unicomp for $5+ shipping. you have a good chance of calling and getting them to consider cheap shipping for just a small cable e.g. ~$4. the people at unicomp (pckeyboards dot com) are very nice and helpful. so for <$10 you get a brand new cable for your new keyboard.

or, if you don't want to spend the $10, I guess you know what you're doing with the soldering :)

Looks like Unicomp raised their price a couple bucks, but they're still cheaper than clickykeyboards.com:
