CM Storm Recon (yes, I know... a mouse)
« on: Mon, 30 September 2013, 17:25:18 »
Quick question to any owners of CM Storm Recon or for CM reps: is the rubberized coating on the mouse the same as on the QFR covers?  Just wondering how durable it is for a couple years of daily use.

I have owned  Recon for several months now.... the rubberized coating on top is perfectly fine... however i find the grey plastic sides (where you put your thumb) are prone to fading and somehow become a bit black.... i think they painted that part black....

No it is not the same coating but similar. Its the best rubber coating we have found for mice currently. Really like the material used on the Roccat Savu as well and we are doing some stress testing currently.
