Good news - made more caps! Bad news - just broke the stem of AXOL mold as well...
Oh no! so what does breaking your mold mean? do you have the original masters to reproduce the molds?
I cast the masters w/o baking the polymer clay 'cause I wasn't thinking that far ahead. So the AXOL would have to be re-cast from an AXOL cap. Dunno if I have a really good quality one though, I'll have to take a look at what I've got right now. Only the stem broke though, so theoretically I could just put a cap back in the mold and then cast the base again. Might be a little loose or something, I don't know.
What happens is the stem of the mold gets caught in the base of the cap, and just rips off. Seems to happen to every one of my molds at some point towards the end of their lifespan, so I'll probably go ahead and invest in some mold release in the near future so that this happens less often.
