Title: Keyboard stands
Post by: mivanov on Sun, 22 November 2015, 15:36:31
Post ideas about stands for split keyboards here. My first ideas are to use simple camera tripods. Or a modified monitor stand.

Are we talking full custom boards or additions to retail keyboards?

One of these for each hand, but maybe with a lower profile:

What if we have wrist rests? Can we rest our hands on that without moving it?

Also - what about chair mounting on the arm rests?

And mby some DIY ideas about something close to this?

To avoid distortion(considering keyboards weight), stand is made with Poly Carbonate, with CNC.
acrylic palm-rest and feet, with laser-cut since it's cheaper.
No bonding, just nuts and bolts.

Whoa, is that the board that everyone's been raving about from the mail thread?

It uses the same PCB; Vergo type. T
Different case obviously.

Not exactly, this is former version of VE.A, it is Vergo type.T.
I designed it a year ago.
VE.A is recent version with new PCB.
