High Profile milled Planck/40% case
« on: Mon, 10 October 2016, 21:39:41 »
I love my plancks, as many of you from reddit know. I have found that the ortholinear market is missing high profile aluminum cases. I am trying to make a truly endgame planck case happen.

These are the initial designs I have come up with. The case has a 5mm bezel on the sides and top, and a 7 mm bezel on the bottom.

Please give your feedback!

We have exactly same project! But I don't know I have capability to release it for the market or not :p

One thing I realize when prototyping high profile case was the planck plate from OLKB has too much spacing from outer key to the end because it designed with low profile case in mind. So I have to cut mine about 2.5mm on all sides to adjust the gap with the case.

Yeah. I designed a bezelless plate for this one.

Mark me as interested. I've been having fun with my planck. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do.

Would there be options on plate material? Perhaps polycarbonate?
