thanks guys! hard to tell from the pic but for the dolch the v1 is more of an orange and the v2's are trans reds.

That looks fantastic against the dark background!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

This post is titled "I dream[ed] of Dollies"
(Because I've loved them since they first came out, and finally I have a little collection!)

Absolutely fantastic collection of Dolly V1 there, Photoelectric! Much jelly. I like V1 very much and was really fortunate to have a Alps and BS stem Dolly. Both are among my favorites!

You have some of the coolest Dolly/nubb colorways.

I had no idea nubb made that many GID caps.

I don't always advertise that a cap is GID and hope that it is randomly discovered at some point.

Decided that it was time to revisit Hard Knock Waz and make a V2, A.K.A., Harder Knock Waz.  Still in the formative stages and saw some spots I needed to edit on the base layer after I took the pic, but I'm having some fun.  I feel like I'm starting to get a feel of this "sculpting" thing.

For some odd reason I kept thinking a murder Furby, but Furbys have two eyes and a beak.  Maybe I should do a deathly Waz with all his flesh stripped away and only muscles there.

Now has a little more life to it.  I should finish it sometime this weekend and get a mold made up assuming I don't have to do any major editing.  I do have some clean up to do, but I'm liking how it's going.

I'm going to see about getting the other side done tonight.

Had to edit the ear, but I think it made it turn out even better.

It looks funky in a couple of spots because of the different clays used and the fact that one like to spot as you work with it.

Looks like 5 is the max to really look decent.  Two on the eye, two in the mouth, and then the body.  I was hoping to be able to color the mouth, but I wasn't sold on how it turned out.  Teeth and tongue work and eye seems to work as well.  I also have an idea about the order to do things in now.
