Hey all

Just got my kinesis advantage and have already remapped the thumb keys to my liking.
However I use the windows key for various window manager shortcuts and would like to also be able to use an alt key with applications that support it.

From what I can tell the windows layout has 2 windows keys and one alt which seems to behave as an alt-gr, the mac layout is simila.
The pc non windows layout has two alts (alt gr and real alt), but alas no window key.
I think I can get a normal alt by going into pc-non windows mode and creating a macro containing only an alt, switch to windows to get a windows key, remap, and then bind the alt-macro to the key.

Is there a more elegant solution? I want to avoid doing any remapping in my os.

Cheers

Ignore this, turns out it was an application issue, the alt on the kinesis is NOT an alt gr. Xterm giving me troubles.
