A Martian View Deskmat Series
This series of deskmats has been in the works for a while and I think it's time to get an IC out there. The designs are texture-filled and detailed versions of Mars in an old-timey Sci-fi style. I was originally only going to do the Martian View, but after seeing a black and white version of it I knew a Blackout View had to be made. This also led to the whiteout and Spacedout Views which all make this design super compatible with tons of desk setups.

Love it. Love the subject matter and the execution with the crisp outlines and many textures added. Also really torn between the colorful OG version and the white out.
I've never seen a "white" deskmat come out very white though. So the renders may be making the white look sweeter than it would IRL. Most mats I've purchased in white usually come out a very pale, cool gray.

I will definitely be getting samples of each colorway to make sure the colors are accurate and so people can get a good look at the IRL versions. Don't want anyone feeling like they got a washed-out version of the original art.

Ok here me out. I think this would be amazing for all the Dragon Ball Z lovers out there. Planet Namek-themed colorway? Or Wavez :thumb:

I'll definitely be getting a spaced out mat. One suggestion though- the comet in the background feels a bit big and like it gets in the way of the spacey background. Any chance of an option without the comet in it?

After looking at the comet again in spaced out I agree with you. I will either be removing it or trying to make it a lot less noticeable.

Love that idea! I will probably end up creating a series with planets from all sorts of different animes/shows. DBZ, Adventure Time, and Neon Genisis would definitely work great for the format.

I love all of the versions, but particularly the Martian colored one. Great job on the design, and I'll definitely be getting at least one.

Martian view brings me back to reading spaceman spiff Calvin and Hobbes segments from their full color books. For that alone I am IN :D

Is it possible to have an Australian vendor maybe Daily Clack or an SEA vendor at least for people in that area as shipping can be the same as the mat from the USA
