So, after running Weaven project groupbuy (here). I got a lot of feedback asking for something to show off boards armed with LEDs.
Pictures are kind of self-explanatory so not much to say about this one. Just some points:

-We are doing experiments with colored acrylate, because having only clear and frost are so boring ;)
-Update pictures of finished board will come in few days.
-Plenty of color for anodizing, but we need at least a minimum number of pairs for each color, so vote will happen.

They will come with many type of kit:

+Minimal kit: side pairs + body.
+Basic kit: minimal kit + carbon fiber plate.
+Full kit: basic kit + pcb (bface) + switches + leds for who don't wait.

We are working on final price, but I promise it will be easy on your wallet.

Also:

-Weaven still up for next round.
-Replacements for damaged Weaven's parts because bad packaging in round 1 still our highest priority.
-Foam insert and professional packaging so it will not happen again on any of our product.
-Improved anodizing for both Weaven and Lustro.

Shipping fee and proxies are looked at to minimize the cost.

-Also, the sidebars design of red prototype are not up for first round, just one of many prototypes to lure in people who not interested in current one :D, they will available at other round in future :)

This looks so awesome, especially the cyan/transparent combo, this would be the best 60% display case ever =)

(I would never want to use it though, the height + slanted design would destroy my wrists and/or elbows).

Is there a reason you're saying "acrylite" instead of acrylic? Never seen it used, and it seems to be a brand of acrylic?

Some of the acrylic sheet I have here got "clear acrylite" all over the peel-off paper, not the brand through (the brand is something else in Chinese, made in Taiwan). I assume it as another way to spell it, and never questioned why :D my bad.

This is amazing. Just when I thought I'm done with this hobby.

What's the height of the front and back, and what's the inclination angle? Do you also plan to have a viper like acrylic case with this the same design?

7°, from highest point to the floor: front is ~28mm, back is ~40mm
the edge of acrylic frame is tiny bit higher than bottom of keycaps.

Using with wrist rest (like me) is recommended ;)
Thinking about a complete kit with wooden wrist rest and custom cables provide by my friends - not sure there will be enough interest.

I'm not sure  if you are familiar with duck viper but here is the link to the original GB: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=61227.0
So I am curious if  you will also build a  case with builtin acrylic blockers just  like on Duck Viper. :)

Ah I see now, you meant the layout of HHKB right?

Problem is, you'll need a special PCB for that matter, which Duck has provided for that GB alone (PCB cut specifically to fit in, not regular 60%). We, on the other hand design this case for universal 60% PCB use so it may not in near future that we'll have the HHKB like layout like what Viper did, but who knows, maybe we'll into making PCB, but not right now. ;)

Yeah, I meant the HHKB layout. :)

There has  been also a talked  about leeku making a Viper PCB, here's the link to the IC: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=74953.0, I hope it would materialize though.

So, is it possible to order this "+Minimal kit: side pairs + body." and have an option to an HHKB/Viper layout?

Well if we can sort out the PCB access things, HHKB layout in the future is totally possible :thumb:

where can I get those L3 PCB from LZ, might be good to make 65% version of Weaven

Probably now I got your answer at last.
For your convenience, you can recall my question here.

Hei sorry I missed that somehow :( extended Weaven is inevitable but at the moment I still need to source some PCB to test first. As you can see I'm still on the search for 65% pcb now :P

I've been still eagerly anticipated 65% version for Weaven and now for Lustro as well.  :thumb:

Which one? If the screw holes arrangement is the same with standard 60%_then it would worrk.
Or if I can get the pcb.

After looking at it carefully, the front of the housing does look a little higher than a typical case? Any typing feedback on this?

Yep, it does, using with wrist rest is recommended (I considering offer wooden one in group buy, made by my friend).
Typing is okay - nothing weird with this steel plate, I will try it with carbon fiber mix plate later - i expected it to be good.

Absolutely astounding work bazh and foggyflute. I'm in for sure.

Only thing I noticed is that the case looks really quite high. How tall is it at the front? If it's over 20mm you might consider reducing it, as anything over 20mm is uncomfortable in my opinion.
