Well I guess it depends of your using a hhkb or poker and which way you want the cable to go

agreed so you might want to make a few of both if you find right/left angle minib connectors

angle mini b connectors can be found pretty easy on ebay, but I just thought they were boring so I made my own lol. At some point I will try some other ways too, I have a lot of other ideas as well. Right now I am just trying to get some feedback as I am planning on switching things up a bit and making different things.

the main reason im looking for a right/left angle connector is so that i can butt my keyboard right up against my laptop as when at school im very constrained for space.

Yes yes, I need to make more :(.

Unfortunately I am out of supplies and I need to re up. So I am gonna order some more stuff. I have been getting a lot of request for cables that match red alert so I think I will do a batch of red alert cables ( red w/ white shrink wrap).

As for when I don't know. School starts back for me on the 20th and I am working a lot so it will be whenever I have time :). One of these days I will have to take a break so I can put my KMAC together lol.

I am so in for one of these whenever they happen!

Hi WhiskerBox,

Since you are not currently selling (as far as I can tell from the OP), can you tell me where you found this sleeving?  I saw it on some custom audio cables a while back and really like the way it looks.  I would like to add it to my Phantom.

Keyboards:
Filco 104 MX Brown (Otaku) - FKBN104M/NPEK 黒い空
Ducky TKL MX Brown/Blue 80% (White) - 1087-F 白の空
KBC Poker MX Red with PBT Key Caps - PFCN6000

Did that one time, well one time successfully. I will tell you that sleeving a flat curl cable with paracord is damn near impossible, but it can be done with techflex.

One of these days I will get a round curly cable and make one. Maarten made a really cool brown curl cable awhile back which I loved.

What thickness of techflex do you use in your cables? or is it inner diameter? Haven't figured this stuff out yet.

Different sizes can give different effects, so it's best to try different sizes and see what you like. Also it really depends on the diameter of what you are sleeving.

Well USB cables, and depending on how that goes for me maybe HDMI cables.

What do you use on the majority of the USB cables you have sold? Or do you stretch some tighter than others for different effect?

These are very nice!
Are you making the cables out of raw materials or cutting usb cables? I can't really see how else you're getting paracord over the USB A connectors, please enlighten.

I use raw materials, but I made a tutorial for people to make cable where all they did was cut off the USB-A side and resolder it after wrapping. I thought this would be easier for people then trying to solder a mini-B connection.

You may be able to put an LED in the USB A side, I talked with Cactux about this for awhile. I just haven't had time to fiddle with it.

P.S. Red and Green sparkle cables up for trade or sale!! Always looking for cool keycaps. Also looking for some winkeyless stuff too!

Yeah cables could be longer, but that requires more time and materials which equals more money. I think for most applications 5ft. is more than enough. Sometimes it is actually too long and I end up having to tie it up. I think you are the exception lol.

id buy a tripple wrapped but I dont like the colors sorry also 5ft is not nearly long enough for me

Yeah cables could be longer, but that requires more time and materials which equals more money. I think for most applications 5ft. is more than enough. Sometimes it is actually too long and I end up having to tie it up. I think you are the exception lol.
yes yes i am standing desk an all  and way you could make me a tripple wrapped 10fter?

Hard part is finding time right now :( Just started my last semester and I am working full time too. So right now I am just using up the materials I have to make a little extra cash to buy gas with lol
