Yes, hineybush has a good review of the new packaging on YouTube. Just turn the sound down a little.

I feel like throwing my extras in a ziploc bag is an upgrade to the new GMK packaging.

Received mine from Kono today. Looks so sick! I love the bandolier design!
Nice job, Oblotzky!

But does it still work?  I don’t mind a bit of banana as long as the stabilizers don’t bind.  Just can’t use on a lower profile board where it shows.

Seems to work okay with durock stabs. I do happen to mind, but I'm not going to get into that debate again here.

Slight banana is fair, but I don't think many will notice unless you're looking for it. That said, GMK has done better in the past.

Got mine in. Indeed some warping on both space bars.  The set is stellar.  Space bars are less than stellar.

I’d love to get replacements just to have the set be a 10/10.  But where would we go?  Kono?

Oof that’s not good. Have yet to receive mine but I see the spacebar warping saga gets more real by the day.

Got my today. Spacebars are fine, just a tiny bit crooked but this is not an issue for me and I’d say it’s normal.

Everything else is good as well ^_^

Unfortunately we're still waiting for GMK to release their specs. I know with 9009 I had to submit a ticket to Dixie.

Any chance of this set getting a R2? I have absolutely fallen in love with this set, and while I can definitely grab one secondhand, I would be happy to wait for a R2 if it was a possibility.

will there be an r2 for this?

2022

Currently TBD. Aside from Oblivion V3.2 I am not planning any GMK runs right now, neither new creations nor reruns of old sets of mine. Waiting for lead times to come down to 6-8 months or so.

Oblivion V3.2 is the same setup as V3.1, but with Hagoromo Alphas instead of Oblivion Alphas. Initially (when the pandemic was just starting and I was drafting V3) I wanted to launch V3.2 right when V3.1 shipped, but then the delays happened, and I felt, I rather launch it half a year later either way or otherwise the Hagoromo Alphas version would ship like 2.5-3 years after the launch of the V3.1 group buy.

Tentative GB month for GMK CYL ASCII II is October 2023. (CYL indicates Cylindrical profile aka Cherry profile, as MTNU is kicking off production at GMK soon the two need to be differentiated). More info as we get closer to that date. In the meantime, I am also preparing to do a SA ASCII run in July.

Are you going to post IC threads on Geekhack for these two future GBs?

Probably just a preview GB thread 2 weeks ahead of launch.
