GH thread about 'em here (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40501.9600). Apparently $300 was considered a good deal 4 years ago, and this one's like new, seller sez—so there you go.

I have one of these but this one looks super nice and has the case. I haven't pulled a key though so I'm not sure of the switches.

It does indeed seem in remarkable shape. Ya gotta love those keys, too, huh?

Holy cow, I haven't seen one of these in many decades. :O

The last time I saw one of these in person is when someone came to program our Mitel SX-50 at one of our hotels.  The SX-50 has a serial port where a 'terminal' would interface and then you could print out the current registers and then change them if need be.  This machine was so rare that the availability of people to program the SX-50 was basically zero and none.

Wow! And to think we've seen such progress just in our lifetimes.

And the only way to reflect on this progress is to own some machines from the past. :D  Especially any that have a great typing experience. ;)
