Word Perfect 7 Disk Needed

I've got a copy of WordPerfect 7. The only problem is it's missing one floppy disk: Disk 1. I have all other 17 disks. Does anybody know where I could find or download Disk 1?

My advice:

Get your P3 to 512MB of RAM. Clock it up a bit if possible in your configuration.

Install Windows XP. Don't like how it looks? Too bad, use Classic.

Install Office 2007 and WordPerfect Office X3.

All your ridiculous problems = solved.

If he's ****ing around with considerably outdated and practically useless productivity software - which is hardly productive anymore anyway - it's almost certainly not to run on a more current rig.

I'm all for getting the most out of older hardware, but FFS don't cripple yourself with software that can't handle modern files.

I actually know some people who still use word perfect (certain versions) because of some features they like in it.

He does have Word 97 like Ripster, although, he also wants to use Word Perfect for multiple platforms.

Yeah, lol, vetusware would be a place to look. If not try torrents.

I'm just messin' with ya. But really, if writing up documents which may be emailed to other people, "Microsoft Word 97 Document" or "WordPerfect 7 Document" look really bad to the recipient when they look at the file type.

Oh I wouldn't actually use Word Perfect. I use Office 97.

Now you know what would definitely beat a complete set of Wordperfect 7 on floppies? Office 97 on floppies!

Try Windows 95 on floppies.

You'll never want to touch a floppy disk again. Ever.

Maybe I'll see if I can get that too. Windows 95 on floppies would actually be quite handy. Floppy drives are the only part of old computers that don't give you any trouble when it comes to booting.

And Windows 95 on floppies is NOTHING compared to Office 97 on floppies. Have you ever seen 100 floppy disks before?

I just downloaded wp 6 for dos and installed it on my xp netbook.  I took several classes in Junior high on wp 5.1.  I wonder if i can remember all the hotkeys.....

Counter intuitive DOS software is why certain people in the generation above me in this family can't be bothered to try their hand at computers again. It's surprisingly difficult to communicate the fact that virtually nothing is the same from the user's perspective.

That's too bad, I found DOS to be great and one of the best platforms ever made. Not dumbed-down, straight to the point, etc.

And I love how you program in MS-DOS, much like TI-BASIC.

Hahaha, you guys crack me up.  My father probably has a copy of this, as he saved every program we ever bought, but it's no doubt in a box under other boxes, if they're still good.
