Need a new mobile phone

rant
I broke my iPhone. my fault, cant replace the battery.
The sound no longer works.
I took it to a backyard "repairer" who called me and said i can come get it now...the sound still doesnt work, and its stuck on the apple screen. BRICK!
bad at first, then i realised when i watched other people with iPhones, they LOOK at them every 3-4 minutes for new emails etc.
I have enjoyed my Ericsson T39m for the last couple weeks so far, it has no email, good battery life and bluetooth. It looks like a kids toy and im client facing.
Basically i want a new phone, candybar style that has NO EMAIL
(if it has email, i will use it)

I really like the KDDI Talby, but Japan only.

Suggestions?? and if you have a suitable phone i would love to buy it!

Stop using mobile phones ... and don't look back!

That is my suggestion.

I don't understand why you can't not use email, just because it's available to you. Don't turn on that app. How is that hard? I have a Droid, but my email isn't on it. So, it's just a phone with some cool apps (that I seldom use).

Anyway, your carrier is obviously AT&T. Go out to eBay and search for phones for your carrier, you should be able to find something. I'm with Verizon, so I can't recommend anything you can use.

It's a few years old now, but the W810i from SE was an amazing phone.

There are also several nokia phones that fit your requirements. Take a look at the 2710 Navigation Edition. It's S40, so their non-smartphone platform, plus it has navigation capabilities, if you ever get lost in the outback.

Sounds like you need to setup push email. Make your email work for you, not the other way around.
