Topre keycaps on MX adapter stems?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out my ideal keycap layout for my HHKB Pro 2, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience, thoughts, opinions, etc, with putting the stock Topre keycaps on MX adapter stems.  I just recently installed the KBDfans Adapter-X stems.  I have a GMK set on currently (that I took from another board) but I feel like right now I just prefer PBT keys over shiny GMK.

Is it possible to use Topre keys on MX adapters, or will they just fall off or rotate?  I tried a test fit on an extra stem and it seemed to go on, but I don't know how it will be long term.  If this sounds crazy and I should just swap my stems back to Topre stems well that is a possibility too.  :)

or buy a second hhkb so you can have both at your disposal. they're only ~180 used. sometimes cheaper

Yeah this would solve many problems.

but there would be more cracked stems. haha.

TMX looks amazing.  Hopefully we will see some keycap sets use those in the future, though I'm not holding my breath.  >.<

Thanks all!  I will probably swap my alphas back to Topre this weekend and use the Adapter-X for modifiers with some PBT mods that I ordered.
