I just wanted to point out that Cherry caps go straight down tho, not sure if you already changed that.
From the side your renders have kind of a flat wall near the bottom of the caps which is more like an HHKB cap.

Which software do you use for modelling and which one for rendering?
I'm an industrial designer and i've been doing renderings for years too, don't you think they are a bit overpriced?

That's a tough one for me. Halverson's favorite from my goofing around was pink, but I loved magenta and then green. Maybe those ghetto rigged mockups will give you some inspiration. If you don't want to think, pink or magenta.
