Keyboard plate screws

I was wondering what types / sizes of screws people have used for their cases?  Also, what size pilot hole did you drill or have fabricated?  I'm planning on using aluminum for my case.

I've used M2.5 screws without washers works perfectly. You want in the pcb either a 2.9mm H13 or a 2.7mm H12 hole. It all depends on how exact you can make your case. If you drill all holes in the case without unmounting it from the milling table like in one go (sry cant prhase it better) you should be fine with 2.7mm holes.
