Hi, I'm cendrounet, software designer and developper from France, and I am new to mechanicals keyboards.
I have as a project to make myself a new one, except I don't see anything available that totally fits me :)
And so I want to make a TKL ortholinear split with a french configuration (with é, è, ê, à, ç, ù )
most likely I will use XDA keycaps, brown mx substitutes, and this configuration http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/f89f047eae368b6b0d43c04c524afff8 (http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/f89f047eae368b6b0d43c04c524afff8) (still in developpement, but I think I am sure of the physical layout).
Of course, who says custom layout says handwiring. Therefore, I will most likely poke fun with those guys https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=89541.0 (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=89541.0)
And for the occasion, I will make an imgur profile to tell you all about my journey. (I am as new to MK as I am to soldering. (though I have in fact soldered things on arduinos and raspberry pies with shields)).
When the fun starts, I will make a proper post.

Want to inquire about the information you have published that I can study myself or do you have good advice for me?
