pics incoming. it's about the same difference. could stuff a bit of plastic wrap in the stem to get it higher but it will obviously sit higher from the PCB/plate. would be fine between a few keys or on a board with high 'walls'.
Cherry key used for reference is lasered Num Lock from G80-3700.

sorry for the tilt :P

trust me man i've been thinking about running one for a while but i dont think people are gonna want to pay what it costs to get a whole set of qwerkeys.

i'll do an IC thread but MOQ is 100 sets at ~75GBP per set :(

no argument here- the board as existed is/was pretty nauseating looking and even worse with the caps that came on it

they will be transplanted soon......., just wanted to use the switches for a while, which are not bad

but you be right  maybe we need to make a "wall of shame"

was thinking it was worth a try to see if the led's would come through the GH QWER-keys, but no dice- bummer

needless to say I will be taking everything off and putting it back in the closet

dude you are defiling the cherry doubleshots by putting them on that board. i think i'm going to be sick :(

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with these.  The key mold itself is cool but the engraving/infill is off center and inconsistant in thickness and size.

1 out of 4 of mine looks good in my opinion.

I've had mine for a couple days but I like them.

Are we going to do the next GeekHack keys at QWERKeys or back to SP? Any idea on color? Maybe we could get a thick PBT dyesub version from imsto.

wow rumors spread quick. we'll see, i might be moving soon so might have to wait.
anyway yeah if i do a run it will be through SP, most cost effective right now.

i think as long as we all work together and make sure nobody is competing, GH charity GBs should be allowed by anybody :)

I got mine and I think they turned out well.  This three color process is not quite as consistent as SP's double shot...I don't know if I'd want a whole keyboard of these.  For novelty keys, they seem just fine.

It's the USPS. They are unreliable and not on time with deliveries but this is the only real option we have. I am truly sorry for this and all we can do right now is wait.

USPS has lost me enough packages lately. These better get to Slaughter safely

You and I both.

Are there any left-overs?

Or should we just order direct from QWERKeys?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
