What is POM? I have blank filco keycaps and might be interested in this group buy.

Polyoxymethylene aka Delrin. It's a thermoplastic used in the manufacture of some keycaps.

That's a big word, is it better than PBT?

PBT's pretty big too: polybutylene tetraphthalate.

Better is subjective. lower coefficient of friction so its an inherently more slippery plastic, but theoretically has better wear characteristics to PBT. Really depends if you like the slipperiness vs PBT, which is the big factor.

Hmmm I don't know if I like slippery or not, these Filco keycaps are nice though are they slippery?

Would POM keys feel similar to coated caps that Ducky Shine and CM Storm Trigger use?  Those have a silky slippery feel and are made of softer flexing plastic vs ABS Doubleshots I've tried.  A very soft and nice feel.  If that's what POM would be like, I wish I could get a set in some light color.

They are slippery like that but with additional texture.

I contacted a couple Cherry distributors and Cherry themselves and have been unsuccessful in getting these made.

MechanicalKeyboards.com can't get a hold of PLUM and I can't speak Chinese to contact Noppoo/Keycool.

Sherryton if you're looking for another hard to find and unique product with absolutely no competition for your empire this is it!

Well that sucks, I guess most people don't want blanks.

Looks awesome! I think I'd also be willing to pay $50 to $60. I'd prefer blank but I'd get side printed if I really had to.

Those look nice, bet they set you back a pretty penny though? Saw some sets like that selling on aliexpress for ~$100

I would really like some blank (or front printed) cherry profile POM. Not sure what I'd pay, but finding das II's is near impossible nowadays and ordering a G80-3000 LPCXY (XX for iso) from the UK for 70 GBP would incur unnecessarily expensive shipping costs.

I'd get 2 blank TKL sets if they are around 50 USD or less...
Btw, why not having thick black PBT caps? If the POMs are made where I think they are made the place should have the molds for it >.>

I'd be in for blank sets. Would also prefer to pay in the range of $50-60.

Things are progressing ... Hopefully within the month I will start a GB for these.  Target price around $22 (before shipping) a set for Cherry Profile 104 ANSI Blank Black POM only.

Price will be static and will require a MOQ of 200 sets.

I have Choc Mini and I kinda like POM, so I would like to join group buy but as I am new to KB modding, I wonder if I can use these in Razer BlackWidow? I know I will not see the backlight, doesn't matter to me. The other Cherry keyboard I am expecting to arrive is the Code TKL - will it work with Code too?

If your keyboard takes all Filco keycaps it will work.

I don't have the answer to that. I assume WASDKeyboards (for the Code) follow standards. I'm not sure if Razer do.

I am desperate for a set of blank POMs in black!! Yes, please! Seriously. Do this.

I have an awesome set of blank POM Jellies and love the feel, but would prefer to have something more understated. Anything other than the jellies are impossible to find from US vendors though.

Those blank blanks you posted look really thick too. Want.
