This is very hard for me to do, since I'm a real fan of brocaps and love him and his dedication to this community.
Since I'm in a real pinch from a financial point of view, I sadly need to sell those. I've been collecting them for the past 2 years and the decision to sell them was really hard but turned out to be unavoidable.
I just don't want people to bash on me because of the price I'm selling them for (I DO NOT want to make profit from having Brocaps and participating in Bro's sales!) so I felt the need to atleast say why I'm doing it in the first place.
What's up for grabs?

Mellow yellow V2 (MX)
Northen Lights GID Reaper (MX)
Bro-Ho-Ho Reaper (MX)
Slurple V2 (MX)
Gamer set ESC key - Pink (Topre)
Gamer set ESC key - Purple (Topre)

All keys are unused, never unpacked from the plastic bags, never put on a keyboard. They were exclusively owned as collectibles.

Price: 380$ for all (I DONT SELL THEM SEPERATELY, THEY COME AS A PACK! Take it or leave it.)

If he came down to atleast a semi-reasonable price i would consider buying and splitting up to those who wanted. But currently his prices just cause 100% loss for someone selling at retail. You would need like 75$ per cap, including just the esc's

Personally I don't think the price is THAT bad. Individually, it's pretty reasonable. I offered to buy all of them and would be willing to split up the gamers and reapers but I haven't heard back from him.

What prices were off as I looked them up ? It doesn't matter really I was just stating that it was much higher then the retail price as someone had tried saying .

Even if you doubled the estimate without p&h, it's still less than the asking price.

I've sold a couple keys now and they were all sold for their retail cost and not a dollar more. Why? Because I didnt do anything to add value to them. Profiting grossly off these keys essentially permanently moves them into a price bracket where many are priced out. Unless you have someone ridiculously altruistic and willing to lose money, most people are typically going to sell the keys for the same or more than they paid. I fully support Bro Caps and other makers in blacklisting people for profiting off his art because they are essentially removing those keys from access to a quantifiable percentage of the community.

I do respect the people that choose to sell them at retail (along with Bro's wishes). But let's be realistic about what these are. They're fun keycaps that add some visual coolness and pride to a keyboard. It's really as simple as how much you value those two things. The people "removed from access" are the ones who don't value the keys as much and that's fine. They're missing out on only a very small part of this hobby.

Definitely! I'd probably keep one of the gamer esc's for myself, I would loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the v2 and reapers but like other people would probably get better use out of 'em and it'd be good for someone to win a bro at 10$

I just came back home after a long day just to see a ton of emails. Then i checked the thread and saw some people were unhappy about the price.

Now to those of you who can't seem to understand I'm in a really bad situation right now; I'm sorry. It's a personal matter and I really just NEED ALL THE MONEY I CAN GET.

I am not selling my artisan caps because I want to make a profit out of it. I have never before sold any artisan keycap. Why? Because I have been collecting them for the past year and a half and because I love Bro's work, the effort he puts into it, and the way he makes it all a bit more accesible with raffles.

I would, if not for those unfortunate circumstances, never EVER sell them. EVER. If I would give them away, it wouldn't be for money. I would make some kind of raffles that would be fair.

But I'm in a dire situation and as stated above; I NEED ALL THE MONEY I CAN GET atm.

From recently just being in the same situation as OP, there are times when you've got to do things you don't want to. That doesn't make you a bad person. Unless of course that thing is murder or the like, but this is nowhere near that.

I understand you need the most money and I understand that in the grand scheme of things, this is about keycaps and it's pretty trivial. That being said, it seems like there was a better way to go about this. How was I or anybody else who PMed about the keycaps supposed to know that $380 wasn't really what they would cost? Collecting PMs waiting for the highest offer shouldn't be how this works. Your post said $380 and several people were willing to pay that but were never given the chance. Just trying to express my reaction and I don't think I'm alone.

Yyyyyeeepppp.  Offers are meant to be for offers below the asking price, to ensure a sale.  Hosting a silent auction is against the forum rules.  Hosting an silent auction without telling the bidders?  That's just sleazy. 

OP, numerous people played by the rules and offered your asking price in a short period.  You've slapped them in the face by accepting an offer without declaring that you'd accept higher offers.

If you want to host an auction, please take it to eBay.  You'd get more money there anyway.

This is not the first time it has happened, and it really spoils the spirit of the community every time it rears its ugly head. If it were up to me I would ban anyone involved including the buyer who is every bit as big a part of the problem as the seller.

As said, I've posted the thread somewhere in the morning yesterday and I had to wait anyway for it to be approved by a mod.

I proceeded to go to school and checked geekhack/emails when i got home late in the evening.

Then I read all the replies and PMs and wrote a response for everyone in the thread.

As for bidding, it wasnt really bidding, he offered more and I just agreed. It was that simple. If i wanted an auction I would have waited for 3 days more for sure, since I already got an offer for 550$ while sleeping.

And ofc it was already sold.

What happened yesterday was just because of my lack of time and because of the fact that I wasn't near my computer for nearly the whole day.
