This photo needs to be color balanced. It's misleading. Because my GMK Minimal WS1 does not look yellow like that at all. If anything, it looks like clean, plain white paper. Not a yellow, tan, sun-washed white.

Interested! I'd be interested in some kit with split spacebar support, as others might be as well with all the Alice layout boards recently.
Some suggestions:
- Move R1 End, R1 PgDn to the H2O2 kit. It doesn't make sense to have them in base if you don't have a numpad. Those keys are only useful on 1800, CP and 96-key layouts when coupled with a numpad.
- In their place, add R3 PgUp and R4 PgDn to the base kit to support popular 65%/75% right column options.
- Use “System” and “Sys” instead of “Win” for the OS key legends.
- Use “Caps” instead of “Caps↲Lock” as the stepped caps legend for a uniform, one-line look across the entire set.
- We've had this discussion many times before, but I suggest using R3 \| instead of R3 #~ as the extra R3 ISO key.
With these being stock GMK colors I wonder if you could run two full base sets with the two most popular options. Text + icons and also text only or maybe icon only.

MOQ is 150 for GMK Dark, also stock colors, and it's 120$. My guess is MOQ 500 gets you the 99$ price point (that said, I bet 500 is doable).
MOQ 500 for Novelkeys usually means adding the numpad in the base and the set for 115.

I don't know how I feel about a UK vendor for EU considering the set might not make the 2020 deadline. MoDo Light is running right now and already has an approximate shipping time of late Q4 2020.
A couple of suggestions:
- I quite like the new cohesive (centered) mod legends first seen with with GMK 8008, but there might be an equal amount of people who dislike them.
- As I have already mentioned would HHKB support (1,5u Code and 2nd 1u Alt) be appreciated as it is quite the popular layout. Doesn't even need to be in the base kit.
- I would love to see a modern icon kit to be used with regular icon mods (A couple of examples are MoDo Light, Future Funk, 9009 R3, 8008). This could easily hit MOQ considering the demand for clean BoW set.
Looking forward to this set no matter what :thumb:

but in case you aren't, that would most likely (a) not be approved by drop/originative (which I guess isn't the biggest problem) and (b) would be too close to WOB simply because the base colors are identical.

I noticed you have 2 arrow HHKB backspaces (one in the base kit and one in the icon kit), not sure if that's intentional or not. It might be nice to change the one in the base kit to 'Backspace' or 'Delete' depending on your preferences, I always feel that's more cohesive with text+icon mods.

I'm a bit concerned about the UK vendor for EU, the set will probably be shipped next year and it would be a shame to pay custom fees on it
A base kit with shipping and fees would be around 150€ or even more if the price will be in pounds, which is way too much for those caps imho :/

That's not the point I was trying to make. Better value ≠ more affordable. I'm sure this set would have been able to reach the same price point if it had gone for that kind of compatibility. Undoubtedly the value for money is worse with a setup like this, but some designers opt for it anyway just because of how attractive that $100 price point is. The cold, hard truth is that the majority of potential buyers aren't going to need the extra compatibility, so offering a lower price point makes more sense for them. Especially with how many sets are running each month now, each of them vying for those buyers and the buyers having to pick, the low price can really make a difference.
That being said, so can the value. I'm not defending this approach by any means; I'm just saying how it is and what the reasoning behind this kit layout might have been. I personally prefer a base kit with good compatibility that allows me to cover the weird layouts I use without spending too much extra. Simple and versatile sets like this especially should, in my opinion, have a good base kit because they have the potential to work on many different boards. But it is what it is.

GMK text+icon is so inconsistent. The icons can be tiny (backspace), huge (windows), or intermediate, to the left of the text (shift, enter, backspace), without text (menu, windows), around the text (tab)... There is no rhyme or reason. They also crowd the surface grotesquely on ISO and split shiftI believe it is icons only now? Same sentiment btw
The only set made in literally the last thirty years to pull off text and icons is /dev/tty.
I will buy this set if it offers icon mods (my preference) or if it uses text mods. If I wanted a keyset that looked like it came off a cheap old Cherry keyboard, I could quite literally dig one out of the trash.
