Looks really good, but maybe re-consider getting normal arrow keys

Love this set!  Contrary to the other posters I actually like the arrows and having the icon mods.

I do think the add-ons should be part of the base set as well.

Any info on potential price?

Interesting set.  I kind of like the new modifier designs. However, I don't understand the Japanese influence.  “黛粉” is not Japanese, as far as I can tell.  I did find a word with the kanji the other way around: 粉黛 (funtai)

https://www.weblio.jp/content/%E7%B2%89%E9%BB%9B

But this is an old word that means two types of very old makeup. Like, the example in the above definition refers to a book written in the late 1300's. So I doubt this is what you meant.

The meaning of this word is not Japanese but Chinese characters. It refers to dark blue and peach pink. No special meaning. LOL ;D

you have enough 1u modifiers for ortho coverage if you add 2 1u and 1 2u spacebar. any chance youd consider it?

planck, preonic, niu, ud40, any ortho really. grid uses the 1u as spacebar, MIT layout uses 2u spacebar

I have to second this. Not a fan of the arrows as they are. I mean normal arrows work, that's why they are normal.

This is how a Colevrak+ kit usually looks like. It accommodates multiple layouts including Dvorak and Colemak. The two rows of keys at the bottom (HUNTA) come as plain and homing.

I too would love to see a Colevrak+ kit offered for this set.

I absolutely love the colors and muted, yet playful aesthetic this is going for! I personally don't think the arrows need to change, but that's just me.

hey York  I really love the keycap you're designing. I'm currently in the process of making a custom keyboard called Cyberboard that I think would look amazing on your keycap sets.
I wondered if there was any chance we can get some renders made up on it? I'll leave a link to the set so you can see what you think. Cheers!  https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=105222
Very good idea. I hope to contact you through WeChat or email.  :thumb:

Will epbt have any issue with the navy colored enter in the color addon kit?

From what I've heard epbt ran into a lot of issues for the kuro shiro's black mods.

They had to dyesub it twice to get it dark enough. And because of that the legends were "stamped" twice and offset. Some came out ok. Some less so. It was enough of a pain that the new kuro/shiro is skipping black mods altogether.

I like this set a lot! I think combining the multiple spacebar kits into a single larger spacebars kit would be better for MOQ purposes. Same goes for the color add-on kits. Arrows are fine, although I do prefer normal arrows and I think the accent arrows should go with the base kit or with the color add-on kits rather than their own separate kit. I like the overall look of everything else though.

There is no way to solve this problem, because the five sided heat sublimated plastic cannot be added with shading powder.

So this time, I'll try to make the space bar by injecting plastic directly.

I agree that combining kit 04 and 05 could be beneficial. The short bar and arrow kits I’m indifferent of, but where are the white short bars? You have it in the first image of the OP..

Amazing set, I'm definitely in. And I really like the arrows design.

The only thing I would prefer is Chinese characters instead of Japanese ones. Because there are already tons of other sets with Japanese characters, but almost zero with Chinese ones.
