Keyboard of the Month - March - Nominations
« on: Thu, 29 March 2018, 10:01:14 »
Hello everyone and welcome to March's Nomination thread!

February's winner was Jon_FLynn's Hyper7

As always, please only nominate boards that have been posted elsewhere on the forum within the calendar month. Please post a quality picture of said board, and a link to where it was originally posted. This thread will be open for approximately two weeks. Happy hunting!
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Not sure if it was nominated in a previous state but pr0ximity's half plated Keycult no.1 really made me swoon.

Nvm. Already won.

If I'm not mistaken, it already won KOTM last year, so it's ineligible now iirc.  :)

Ok, had a suspicion It might have been a contender but not won, should've checked. Nevermind, carry on.

  • Missed another sale.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm a sucker for all-custom self-builds. It's not pretty but by golly is that a great project!

Thanks.
Perhaps the keycap will look less beautiful.
PageUp and PageDown on the right side of the keyboard do not match the height of the keycap. it's cherry profile.
I think SA profiles are better.
