Lookie what I just bought:

Hopefully a couple of them will be in good shape...perfect numpad-less keyboards for my children's little hands.  :)

What's your favorite OS?

I spent several years as a UNIX admin, and Linux has been my desktop OS choice for quite a while.  However, when the Mac mini was released, it was enough to get me to buy my first Mac.  Since then, I've totally converted my family to OS X.

i really like OS X, but I hate touchpads.  So my mobile solution is a thinkpad + Ubuntu.  When I get home, I'll likely buy a new Mac desktop though.

Touch pads suck, I hate using mine but it's worth suffering to have a lappy. You're still a Mac user and that's all it takes. Do you use your Model M with Mac?

I have in the past when I am at home.  I use my thinkpad in my trailer and, right now, a crappy Dell keyboard at work...one of the main reasons I have that Model M mini coming over here.

They have those Dell jobs at my college, and I hate it. Thankfully I only have to use them to print homework. I'd do the same thing you're doing.

I'm sick as a dog - in the summer - and I have to go in to work for a bit to finish up a couple sections, later.
