I've been waiting so long for this. Adding to the call for more than 100 slots, I foresee a great deal of demand, especially if we have a heads-up on when it's going to be available.
Agree.

Forgive me for being a noob (I'm still new to mech keys, let alone customs) but is it possible to buy this keyboard pre-assembled?
I just came across this keyboard and fell in love with the space-efficiency of its 75% + 3 column numpad layout.

Is the 6u spacebar with arrow keys layout possible? I've gotten really attached to the 1.5 1 1.5u on the left side but I also want arrow keys.

was interested but the duck angle makes my wrists bleed.

i thought that the slope of the angled acrylic bottom on the octagon/orion v2 was perfect, and was hoping the v3 lightsaver would also have the option.  The last couple duck boards didn't have the option, so I may be out of luck.

Pictures certainly seem to confirm the slope. Agreed that it's pretty high.. higher than totally comfortable for me.

Since I've never really even considered creating my own custom board and/or running a GB, can someone enlighten me to what the main challenges would be in offering up a large quantity? With all of the obvious demand for the lightsaver and the hopes for 100 slots (implying they anticipate far fewer), what are some of the hurdles to running a GB that could satisfy the demand?

Is limiting the number meant to create exclusivity or is it just a logistical issue of having hundreds of individual parts showing up at the organizer's house/business and requiring packing and shipping to each participant?

Mostly exclusivity. Logistics get easy after you get started as it's just another order (obviously it takes longer but you get in the groove).

i have been seriously considering selling my ZZ96 for a 96-key with better construction/build quality. i would love to get a LSV3, but i have reservations about the programmability of duck boards. i have an octagon V2 and Viper V2 on the way. has Duck made any improvements on his software, or has anyone found a way to flash bootmapperclient to duck boards? the winkeyless software is infinitely easier to use - especially for english speakers

This might be my first 96 key, love Duck boards, I don't know if I'll be able to hold back from this one.  :-X

Any word on that one picture I saw of an HHKB layout in the Lightsaver V3 case elton? Really curious about that, but it's not a deal breaker or anything if it's not there.

I think you're talking about the Duck Black Bird, which is even rarer.

Btw, your name is Weiss and your avatar is Mafuyu    Who am I supposed to fap to  ??:-X :-X :-X

No, when I say HHKB layout I was talking about this
More
Show Image

it was shown here http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_Lsno50&document_srl=4149826, which I thought was cool.

Answer: Both!  :))

Duck said in the post "When Lightsaver v3 ends successfully I would like to see if I can do a GB with people who've purchased the Lightsaver v3 for a Giant Duck "Block," appropriate switch plate, and a mini PCB that uses a Lightsaver v3 base."

So that means.. that GB you're referring to may or may not happen.

Would really love this if I can get it without the case - i.e. just PCB and plate. Loved my Lightsaver V2 but the case was too heavy and steep for my wrists. Love plate-on-feet now after a few years with my Phantom.
