Makes some Interesting Keycapworks ---yah! there HLZZ!

 :))

Always want to post a thread for making artisan works so here we go:

there're two differences between Metal and Resin:
1.more colorways the resin could be showed but metal could not show many colors.
2.it's easy to make shape for resin, but the metal is difficult to model.

above two points make the metal keycap external performance is weaker than resin but the metallic material has some its advantages:
1.metal is harder and is good to maintain a long time without deformation.
2.obviously,precious metals are more valuable such as Gold and Silver.

How did I start to make a cap?

1.get a creative idea and put it down on paper.
2.painting or drawing sth.
3.start sculpting prototype.
4.after ending the sculpt step, making mould and then to fill the liquid metal.

.....

Photos will be updated later ... ;D

Tradition Chinese Lacquer Keycaps

time-consuming!!!!  :'(

From last year September until now, not finished yet. 6 months! Why? Because I use the best natural chinese lacquer and must wait for natural air drying, needs BIG patience. I think I will have to wait another three months at least.  :'(   Yes, No way out! That's traditional craft!

Here's the some photos of the processes:
